New Mexico Gold At Its Finest!

This hole here I've been working on now for 5 trips. Looks like I finally found something that's worth making a video about! Found a strange deposit of gold wrapped up nicely like a big burrito inside some regular soil material. On trip #4 I found found the pocket by accident, kind of lost a little sleep about a return visit due to the piece of wire gold I had found in the vacuum.
The whole mission here was go all the way down to the bedrock, haven't made it that far yet but do need to journey back to get to the bottom of this one.

I had a dry spell and couldn't go back right away and found it to be plundered haha. Can't say I've never done that to an open hole I found before 🤣 but rest assured I'll be going back

Getting off all the main roads and hitting some long old dirt roads makes it a breathtaking experience that's for sure!

Expecting fine gold, I always use a fine mess screen to remove all small pebbles. Also, I am one of the last gold panners that can "whip pan" fine gold from black sands using the "old timer small 5 inch finish pan", which has a small reaseese around the pan's bottom that holds the fine gold and heanest black sands. It is also used for panning down suspected lode gold ore that is crushed and ground to a fine powder, revealing any fine gold in the lode gold ore sample.

No it doesn't peak out down range only up range which is just as good to me. The back story on this spot is like 4 previous visits and like 100 buckets removed. So yeah, it was a ton of work at that place. One day I can tell you more about it.
