I'm genuinely surprised and happy for the Aggie football program. NMState went from being essentially kicked out of the Sun Belt, floating around as an independent and really looking like they were going to follow Idaho by dropping to a lower division, being the worst team in the country, and now this. Coach Kill has really done some great work in Las Cruces. Even though I'm a die hard UNM fan (I know 😂), I feel a sense of pride for Aggie football and how far they have come. Conference USA seems like a great fit for them as well.
