I really appreciate your Driving Test. Imho PHEV cars have a very specific Target (Charging at home, commuting every day, etc). Mg HS Hybrid+ should embrace a larger group of potential buyers

Will the battery charge from the gasoline engine? If so, I am curious about the combustion and this test. Is a PHEV version possible but without the footrest under the door? It looks weak to me. Greetings from Poland I am considering a purchase.

@@wojtekw.8651 I couldn t notice if the engine runs in order to charge the battery, anyway this is inefficient, as I already demonstrated with the previous ehs phev. The footrest I am not sure if it can be removed, but it can sustain my 75kg weight easily and I was also jumping on it.

Do you know what's the maximum charging rate for this batter from home WallBox? Did you try to perform pure EV range test?

Estimated Charging Time (7kW Fast Charger) to 100%: 4 hours. I made only those tests in EV mode for city & extraurban.

Is there a heat pump ? Can the car drives with AC (heat or cold) in EV only mode ?

No heat pump. If it's cold the ICE engine will start running in order to heat up the cabin, that's what happened in one of the EV mode tests.
