To be fair though.. RDR2 managed to run perfectly fine on an Xbox One X and that game looks sexy (now the game is doing as much physics calculations as MFS but... ). I think a GTX 1060 6GB will be perfectly fine for 1080p.. However may need to invest in a 6 core or more CPU that has fairly fast clock speeds. Lots of RAM will probably be needed, considering Star Citizen basically needs 16GB MINIMUM you should go for 24 to 32 or even more RAM. Basically, you probably want to focus on adding more RAM and upgrading your CPU if necessary. The newer graphics cards are pretty good (A RTX 2060 or RTX 2060super will probably be more than enough and is at a reasonable cost)

Surreal Supercell I hear what you say and sometimes completely the opposite. People always say RAM isnt needed for better performance(which doesnt make sense), but i started to believe that. I feel like a large part of my issues are with ram, since im stuck with DDR3 on my motherboard. I cant get a new motherboard without a new case, unfortunately, and at that point, I'll just buy a new pc. I got a prebuilt Dell Inspiron 3650, so its pretty small, and it has its own motherboard which has literally no details on the internet

I guess that's the end for scenery add-ons, elevation models, etc. Wow. I think this is probably the last release of Flight Sim because I can't see it getting any better than that!!!! I'm excited!

Thank for that update David, it is going to be an amazing experience flying with this level of realism and how it actually evolves in flight, I am certainly looking forward to the release of this Flight Sim in the New Year, it will certainly be the bench mark going forward.

Will the sun affect surface temperatures? For example the sun shining on an asphalt runway during summer, creating an updraft vs a cloudy day or a concrete runway whuch is lighter.
@surrealsupercell72174 жыл бұрын
In their aerodynamics video they do mention updrafts and downdrafts in cumulus and thunderstorms. They also mentioned that the world will affect the wind. For example if wind hits a mountain or building it will go upwards and into different directions.

Honestly a GTX 1060 will probably be all you need for beautiful graphics on 1080p. The only thing that you should look into upgrading is probably your CPU and RAM. If you don't already I suggest getting a CPU with 6 cores or more. 16GB ddr4 RAM is probably the minimum you'll need but more is better.
