Yep, this is one of the perks with living close to military installations. People going overseas always have to get rid of tons of stuff plus people making from cold areas to warm areas also getting rid of stuff.

Your home is so cozy! I remember when my husband and i first moved intogether was when we were 22 still young and starting out too thankfully military they have yardsales and online yardsales on fb that you can find decent new furniture to add to your home and people sell them cheap. Most of our house furniture comes from yardsales and we just clean them up real nice and make them look like new. I love living on base..

Thank your for the tour of your home. My father was stationed at Elgin AFB from 1968 until 1972. We didnt live on base,we lived in DeFuniak Springs. I am sure alot has changed since then!! You have a lovely home

my dad was stationed at Hurlburt Field/Eglin AFB 22 years ago. We lived off base though because he worked at Hurlburt Field mainly. He retired as a Tech Sargent in 2004 at Little Rock AFB in Arkansas.

Loved your comment at the end! I remember moving in together on base in Charleston and was so discouraged. I couldnt even afford a RUG! We’ve been married for 2 years and now we have a furnished bedroom and living room (full of hand-me downs). Loved the video !

I am an army wife and a Navy vet. :) we have been married almost 3 years but rent off base because my husband is on temporary assignment as a recruiter. We are much older than you all and have two 11 year olds, but being a military spouse is fun. Sometimes ;) We have started a military family diaries channel to showcase our adventures. Because even though being a military family can be tough.. it can be super fun too. ❤️

Very nice, beautiful home, housing so different from base to base, nice to have a halfbath downstairs, broken leg both bathrooms upstairs lol was not fun lol, mountain home love bed in relacatables for long time all one level, was like double aid mobiles lol, that was years ago, glad to see this ,nice place ,lo e your home, you should have nice living areas , beautiful very happy for you God bless

MadMax Sanchez it all depends on the base!! every bases housing is different and depending on what is available depends on what you get. at our base this housing is JNCO housing and my husband is an E3.
