I wasn’t sold on the interior from early photo shots but from this video the quality seems ok and I rather like the fabrics and reinterpretation of a minimalist look. The screen appears to be fast and it is good to see the option of a supplementary head up display. Being tall the one thing I have liked in previous Mini’s is the pull out seat squab extension to give more support to my long legs. Not sure whether this will be available.

Well, yes, they are waiting to destroy the mini from the R56 onwards,Oh and I own 3 a JCW R53, my favorite is a JCW R56 and the GP2 and they are the last ones.you can keep all of them, design 😂 For me the real mini was the R53!!!!

Unfortunately the material quality went downhill. Everything that was soft touch surfaces before is hard pack now with a bit of fabric on it like in a Dacia Sandero.

The infotainment system is cool but I've seen many video and it's laggy... Even if we let go of that, the interior feels so cheap and knowing they're going to increase price heavily, it just doesn't make sense... They are stopping mini clubman too and increasing the size of countryman and making it look like a defender clone... Yes, Chinese love range rover and every car trying to be one is pathetic...

Oh what fun! You took a car that originally was actually fun to drive, made it cheesy looking, changed the transmission from manual to automatic (the Gen Zs don't like being distracted from their devices with something like shifting), screwed up BOTH the exterior and interior esthetics. Who does your marketing and R&D, the same genius who came up with the Dylan Mulvaney brainstorm for Budweiser? No more Minis for me. Hoping this fails big time.

I drove the new electric mini on Saturday - exactly the same as this one - it was fab. Great fun to drive. The internal electric sounds really add to the experience and the Go-kart mode made it feel very sporty. It’s quick, too - I was very impressed with it 👍

It looks like a Trabant from the 1960s, and instead of making the steering wheel thinner by the thumb so that you can still hold onto the rascal in sharp corners, they made it even thicker, as well as the seats with side support of a double-decker bus,...the only thing that is coherently beautiful, it has become wider and lower,...but that's all,...;:-),...

Looks utterly dreadful,bring back the bonnet vents and rear of the car does not go with the rest of the car. The rear looks like its been sliced off. Having owned many minis,I for one will not be upgrading to this downgrade version what on earth were the bosses at mini thinking that the general public are going to love the style of this car,I think not. Bring back the double rear exhaust this makes the car look edgey without its dull. Please revert back to older minis.
