I remember when Cocytus was a massive problem back in the day, that whenever a new box came out, the new decks or the new decks that got support were judged on their viability if they could or not out Cocytus. This is the exact same thing but with HERO and Predaplant, which angers me so much. No one is going to buy this when HERO and Predaplant are heads and shoulders above everything else.

The thing has frustrates me the most about Predaplants is, them just tributing your monster for literally free and no drawbacks. The +2 is obviously broken but them just searching a kaiju (that goes on their field) is beyond stupid game design.

@@mekklord I Have a differ opinion from this. Salad skill is also a +3 going first and +4 going second. with this inherited power they can survive hero push and zone them back easily. with mirage and spinny finally here the resource loop is completed

You're missing the yellow button effect for Boxers, provided we get Dempsey from the leaks at some point they can set-up like 3 negates or something off 1 card thanks to yellow button.

Had to look to see if Ancient Gear Ballista was in the game yet. Apparently not, but once it is Urgency Schedule has uses in Ancient Gear, though admittedly a lot better once Dark Golem comes around (Schedule get Gizmek Teniguku + Dark Golem, make Ballista, pop a Geartown, get a summon from deck, always have Gizmek to summon the Dark Golem from GY if needed).

Oh, Battlin' Boxer skills being once per duel is such Devs-moves, while other Anime archetypes get more Broken. It’s frustrating since Battlin' Boxer cards already have restrictions on special summons and even got Pre-semi-limited because of stalling effects. Feels like some archetypes are just destined to lose, while others get the VIP treatment as Konami’s favorites.

Morphtronics would be nuts if the skill didn't have an extra deck limitations, a deck full of playmakers/extenders or "morphtronic spam" is a really interesting "strategy" to play around with since it can go into a lot of synchros or links, like they technically have an in archetype destruction card with morphtronic accelerator But alas, the skill limitation is there, so I can't imagine it doing anything too interesting (though ready to be wrong), especially with the zone limitations and hard limit on braver dragon

My take on Urgent Schedule; It's a great going second card, even better if we had certain link 2s. It does finally make fulfilling the second effect of qliphort genius easier, though. The new skill tries to make Urgent Schedule less of a dead card in hand going first, but I find the skill to be heavily undertuned and doesn't do enough to facilitate starting plays. Also, why no release Dora, Konami?!

I‘m kinda pissed about Urgent Schedule in this pack without any other worthwhile Earth Machine support. Could‘ve easily been a shop or event card imo, as if the deck isn‘t spread out around 5-7 boxes anyways.

Dempsey is just not in the box and is coming somewhere else like maybe the trader? But no Cross Counter does suck because the skill makes any boxer monster a 1 card combo with the skill that gets you Dempsey, C79, and double Counter Traps. But since Cross Counter isn’t coming in any way for at least a little bit, it would just be Flamvell. lol I’m gonna run Last Counter in protest, that, and it’s not that bad. Makes a BIG boy. And about your question about General Kaiser, you can Rank Up Star Cestus to get the summon negate. Going second you’d just make Nova Kaiser and get the monster succing General Kaiser! Right now I firmly believe that HEROs makes everything weak by comparison, and even though Cross Counter ain’t coming today, it’s still gonna be a refreshing way to play the deck! Also happy your cat is better!

Not just the meta. Meta would be fantastic without the hero skill. Dragonnaids and tri-brigades could have shone. But Konami sells it's soul. How can you convince players to dig for a main box UR and get structure decks? Easy. Give them the skill that makes the deck tier 1 shortly before a major event (KC cup). After KC cup by which they've have sold enough packs, they'll nerf heroes.

DM sucks in this format. They have been power crept by Skills. The best use of DM right now if you REALLY want to use them is to be a part of Link Pile deck. Also, you can not say you are competitive and proceed to use a rogue deck. If you TRULY want to compete, you gotta use the META decks. Otherwise, you are just a casual player cosplaying as a competitive player. That is the reality.
