I like the fact that you have to spend the token you earn, creates good utility for the token and with it less sell pressure come TGE

The only problem that I have when it comes to phone games is that they throw advertisments in all over the place which they are making a huge profit off of the users from in this case. So even if the coin doesn't do anything at the end of the case study they are making profits off you. Also the fact they expect you to level the characters using the tokens you are being awarded makes me think they know the game is hard enough that with a regular character you won't be able to farm. Unless you beat the stage. The large amount of tokens are only awarded after completing a stage as well.

Unfortunately I don’t share your sentiment here. The gameplay loop is identical to the web2 game survivor io, down to the “upgrading character or you can pass the stage” part so they’re not reinventing the wheel here with these mechanics. You do need to keep upgrading the character with the tokens you earn, keeping them circulating. The actual earnings will be done on the leaderboards and tournaments

There's no way this payout happens. The total tokens is less than 1 billion. You would only need 15k people to get that full 53k tokens to get to 100% of the total supply. This is going to fail/be a rug.

there’s no way more than a few dozens of people will fully level up 6 characters and beat the whole game with all of them. And they did say they’re reworking their tokenomics, on top of that add the partnership with IMX and I have hopium for this

@@InspectorMindblow okay maybe people don't fully max out what they can get, but cut that number in half (25k per person) and double the amount of players to 30k, that's not an unbelievable number. That's not counting leaderboards, the referral system, team allocation, or sales. The only way I see this working is if they increase the total supply, which would devalue the tokens.

It's not possible; you can't clear a stage without upgrading a character. Upgrading a character requires tokens, so you need to invest tokens in order to earn more. All the earnings will be from the leaderboard. The money you spend to upgrade a character will help you clear the next level
