Seeing you use Himeko in your MOC clears inspires me to build her. She is my 1st 5 star but got told she is pretty weak compared to other 5 stars so I stopped building her. Her battle animations look fun and amazing though. Also wow that ending XD

As someone who build Himeko recently, i can say that she is still usable in high MoC. There are stages where she performs well (exemple : Monkey + IPC Bots) and i don't even have her optimal team (Topaz and Huohuo). She is not as good as the limited 5★ DPS but she is still a good dps imo

I watched another video mentioning Himeko and Ruan Mei don’t work well together since Himeko wants to break often for her passive. Ruan Mei breaks really fast and delays the regen, so Himeko can’t take full advantage of her passive. Is this different in game?

imo if its only one enemy, yeah, it could delay himeko´s passive, however against multiple enemies the break efficiency boost is nuts on her and i dont think delaying the toughness regen affects her that much since the break efficiency boost is what keeps her breaking even more often

Nah, YT is full of misinformation. While it is true that they break the break faster and RM delays its action, himeko's greatest damage does not come from its additional atk, and RM is not just break, it alone gives a 68% buff, penetration resistance, etc. And also, testing teams gives me better results if I replace Bronya on the teams. btw, Himeko is not a character who makes breaks, she takes advantage of them

Himeko vs 2 or more elites can be pretty strong, especially if you can break em 1 at a time, and delay the already broken enemy so their toughness never gets depleted at the same time. That way you can spam her follow up.

Ruan Mei works really well with double dps. Having both Himeko & Topaz buffed diminishes that one.

If you have extra resources, build her. But spending those trailblaze power to build Jing Yuan more should be better.
