Past, present, and future don't need a destruction to be defeated, they all share the same hp, so aoe is better, but not needed. That would be counterintuitive to put an enemy that boothill isn't good at fighting against during his banner.

Can kafka be very good without BS. Like with guinaiffen and sampo?

BS is great piece of DoT team but in this 2nd floor she doesn’t matter that much.

How do you think we used Kafka before BS? Yeah you can run her with any other dot unit. Guinaifen, Sampo, Luka. They all work great

As long as the enemies are weak to their respective elements, then yes, they are good.
