Lol I met the whole band back in the 80s. There was a guy we knew handing out leaflets about NMA signing for EMI and making a big scene about it outside one of their gigs. Next minute Justin AKA "Slade the leveller!"as he was called in those days came out with the rest of the band to "Have a Word" It was all quite polite and civilized and the chap decided to stop handing out the leaflets. Afterwards they hung around outside for 10 minutes spoke to several people, signed autographs before going back in to get ready for the gig.

Great band I first saw them live 1982 in London supporting UK Decay etc at an all day gig they were 1st band on & sad to say last time I saw them live was 1991 at Finsbury Park in London with Killing Joke & the Mission

Yes actually it kinda was. It was knocked out as a kid and the new ones kept falling out. Then they wanted to go to America and they got the advice to get his teeth fixed, which then he rebelled against. Kids ay..? Now he’s got them fixed.
