@@jamespugh No James, lead free is good but we're still OK with lead here for now so that isn't an issue. Either is access, I can mailorder almost anything from somewhere but investing any more money into a hobby that's had the crap kicked out of it already is a dead end. If the politics here change soon, we may have a chance for a few more years. Let's hope we win.

@@markcarew6724 well. Thats a good question. I guess the answer is NO. BUT, powder coat eliminates there need for some applications. When pushed hard or in/at most rifle loads a GC is still best option.

@ Yea ain't easy here!!! In a 40/10mm you can do fine without a gc. If you have a 400 Legend you can still do most of what that cartridge can do.

@cw2a It's for my Sharps rifle in 40-65 WCF. I had been using linotype, but my supply of that metal is now exhausted.

@ How hard are you pushing them and what bullet? I have shot 45/70 & 450 BM pretty heavy bullets to 1700- 2000 NO GC no issues. I ha e read if guys sending faster. Its as much the bbl too. Is rifling sharp? Can "cut" PC exposing lead. Only problems 8 have seem were fixed with judicious scrubbing with JB bore paste and Kroil.

Interesting video I noticed Midway has some Buffalo Bore hard cast 35 Remington on sale for the first time in years. But the pill on top of the cartridge looks like the RCBS mold from what I can see in the picture.

BTW Sharpie is not adequate for covering labels. I can still read the last name, and if I tried to pause I could even get the whole tracking number. Either use a dark paint pen, sticky notes, electrical tape, or remove the label if you actually want to protect your details

Good old .358cal . I got some of marc Thomas Lee 200gr Fp I gas checked them and loaded them in the 35remington. That hp looks like a nice bullet in a 200gr . Also 180gr u just got might be ok. 220gr is little heavy in smaller 35 cals munch I seen guys load 220gr in 35rem? Nice way clean a mold. I clean brass soap water and dry in the oven in the kitchen.
