Nice! We ordered the suburban RST 4wd with the Duramax diesel engine in red cherry tintcoat. The diesel gets 30mpg on the highway. 700+ miles on a single tank of diesel on road trips!

Girrrllll, that is a SWEET ride👌🏻congrats!!! I’m 5 foot 5 and prefer the bigger vehicles too. I like to be able to see all around the road and be above others’ headlights. Blinding at night. Right now we have a small Ford Fusion, and it’s a great little car, but I can’t wait until we get a bigger vehicle again lol. Great tour! I’m so excited for you and the fam♥️ love the color

Looks amazing. Going from 3-4 kids and looking at this or a mini van. Can you say why you went with an suv instead? Also what mpg are you getting.

We got this with the plans of having 3 kiddos but are actually having 4, so I’m SO thankful we did! SUV is a preference for me personally. However I’ve been in a bad accident before on a major highway and at the time was driving a large sedan. I just feel more comfortable up highest on the road and in a really heavy car while transporting the kids. My husband sees a lot of accidents at work and usually the SUV/trucks prevail. I can’t speak on the vans though from my experience. Many moms I know with vans do love them! MPG isn’t amazing but I drive local for the most part.

Thanks! I have the RST. I personally love captains chairs v a bench seat in the middle because I’ll have 4 kids, 2 that need easy accessibility to the back - all 4 In car seats. I’ll need to be able to get back there to help them!

Hi! We had one incident where the technology in the radio somehow drained the battery so it went in the shop until they could figure that out. It was a pain but other than that we try and keep up on the oil changes, car washes, tire pressure etc!

Congratulations on your new car. It's beautiful. I'm 5'2 and have a Dodge Caravan. We have 3 kids and 13 year old pittie. He's getting arthritis so we wanted him comfortable. Our kids are older (young adults.) Just became grandparents to a 2 year old and 8 year old.

I have been driving Yukon and Suburban since 2003 - my kids are grown, but we had to trade in our 2014 Suburban ...couldn't think of getting a smaller car -- same here, I love a big car. I felt comfortable parking and parallel parking the 2014, but I did notice that the 2023 is deff a bit wider and longer. Wondering if you have any issues when driving in parking lots, etc. Again, thanks for girl perspective.

The cameras are really great to have! I personally don’t do well with cities/garage parking regardless of the the car I have and try and avoid at all costs! Sometimes I can’t find a good spot at a busy parking lot and have to park side by side to other large cars and just got super slow with cameras on

I went from a Nissan Sentra to a ford explorer now I finally have my dream mom car..a Tahoe!! My kids are all 5 and older so it works great! Im 5 Ft even and I agree with you, us shorties like to sit high lol

Thank you!! 💗 I checked out the Tahoe but it couldn’t fit my double stroller without folding down the third row, so in that case I could have just kept my two row car lol I asked a local moms group and they said across the board suburban, expedition max or the Yukon Denali as the top contenders for the big 3 row suvs 🙂

How long was your wait? We ordered one a few weeks ago and were told 4-6 months. Just wondering if that was accurate in your experience?

That’s not too awful of timing to be transparent! What happened was we ordered a premier and it never even got approved to be built. It’s been well over 6 months. My husband has been tracking similar ones coming in to dealers all over. He noticed this RST was coming in 3 hours away. It checked off all of our boxes so the second came in we drove out and snagged it. We did have some come in locally that were less upgraded but had a $5k over MSRP price tag 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m glad this one worked out, but that does sound about right unfortunately

It would depend on your garage size but ours no. Our builder made it as tight as possible so we can only fit our kids bikes, lawn mower etc.

Congrats! I’m honestly not certain how easy it’ll be to get to the back if there’s car seats on the bench in the middle - just being honest! If the two kids in the back can get in by themselves without adult assistance it might be easier that way!

Personally I only don't like it since it has a bench seat, I prefer my own captain chair, if it's not a 6.2 then it will get worse gas mileage, if it's not 4WD/AWD It's not useful for where I live

@@deltaview2151 I’ve always been one to park in the back of the lot, not park in the city etc so it’s the same for me! I do have to take extra caution in drive thru lanes with tight turns. Luckily it has cameras all around so that really helps me out!
