I live in Florida in the south, winter for a year would give us a big break from the heat.... I think those with snow and ice might go over the edge if it lasted for a year. LOL. Be careful what you ask for folks, Think mild winter with no big incidents happening.. we all need the break from the chaos. That said, I would prepare for a few months of hard times with goods that won't go bad, and then buy as per your usual the things you might need otherwise.
