JULY 2024 New Moon Meditation for the New Moon in Cancer. Set intentions, tap into your intuition, and confront the past in a significant way. 🌙 A New Moon in Cancer on July 5, 2024 offers us a chance to start again and plant seeds of intention that better align with our goals regarding home life, family, and self-love.
Cancer season asks us to take a good hard look in the mirror for introspection and to improve deep, meaningful connections to home and family life, that are hard to otherwise improve.
Cancer is the first water sign in the zodiac, an embodies the qualities of empathy, intuition, and sensitivity. You may be feeling a natural inclination to prioritize your emotions, feelings and familiar connections. This season brings a strong emphasis to creating your own personal inner sanctuary.
This lunation can help us integrate new lessons. Now is the time to make your needs known and clear in any relationship, and to ask for those needs to be met.
Cancer is also a nostalgic sign, and its ruling planet is the moon, which is associated with our memories. We may be tasked with confronting the past in some significant way: Which memories are worth preserving, and which ones are you ready to stop feeling defined by?
This guided meditation centers around asking specific questions to help you navigate riding the emotional wave in the Cancer season journey.
While the energy of a new moon lasts for about three days before and after the lunation, the moon is technically only new for a moment-when the sun and the moon are directly aligned in the sky (and on the zodiac wheel!).
Since new moons happen once a month and signify the beginning of a cycle, you can think of them as a cosmic reset. The new moon is an ideal time to set intentions and goals that you'll develop as the moon waxes toward fullness.
