You makeup looks fabulous. Sometimes I need a primer because my skin is very dry and the primer helps the makeup go on easier. It is a good thing if you don’t need primer that is just one step you can skip. I am in my 70’s so I need all the help I can get. Love your videos and you are a beautiful person.Hope Loui is doing well. I lost my poodle( who was 18 years old )back in July 2023. She was so precious in her last year my life was set around her. She was blind and deaf so I was her eyes and ears both day and night. Sometimes it amazes me how we get so attached to them but they are our babies. Hi Nisha Haven't used a primer for many years After applying my serums moisturiser and Spf find it unnecessary Presently use Lancome foundation and concealer - extremely happy with the results Fabulous video

I have to admit I'm still a Delilah fan. It was so interesting what you said about primers. I'm going to experiment with not using it for a week or so. I do have to admit. That I like eyelid primers. My lids get so oily and I fo think it helps my shadow stay on. You are so right. You could not see a difference at all! Primer on primer side. 😊Very good info to ponder?!

Hi Nisha ,I'm so glad you said you prefer neutral shades, because ive been watching loads of colour analysis videos on KZbin,and most of them say now to ignore the vein test its unreliable, they do colour draping instead, and because you wear black and white, i always suspected you was more neutral leaning cool not warm. Mind you I actually don't think I've seen you in a colour that hasn't suited you tbh..That's the benefit of being a neutral you're one of the lucky ones❤. I never really took much notice of undertones until I bought the L'Oréal true match foundation,which has all 3 ...N, W and C. So now I've become obsessed with it.... I'm 61 and still learning 😂X

Hello Nisha, Glad to see you and you are looking well. I have worn primers but like you I don’t see any real difference. I tried CoverGirl in green to cover red bits because I am very pale but still not convinced. Watching you today I think I should go one shade darker because the ELF in ‘snow’ just doesn’t cover the red bits. I think I will try the Morphe. I am wondering if anyone else has red bits which are not spider veins, they are permanent red marks, very small but annoying, maybe 2-3mm and they are are on my cheeks and 1 near my chin. Does anyone out there know what these are and if so how do you deal with them. Thank you. How is Louis, I hope he is as chipper as the other day.❤️

I love watching you do face transformation. I don’t think I told you but I had the eyelids removal of extra skin down in chihuahua, Mexico by a plastic surgeon for the sum of $600 or $650. US dollars as opposed to having it done in Garden City, Kansas to the tune of $5,000.00. Which they said would be cosmetic surgery and insurance wouldn’t cover it. I don’t know how they can determine that when they stretch your skin back with tape. Do they honestly think people are going to tape the loose skin back every day before going out or going to work.best money I ever spent.

I don't use primer either. I find that finishing powder works better for me mattifying and minimizing my flaws but everyone's skin is different for sure. I looked at the foundation and at Ulta you get a free brush! How is little Louie doing? ❤ Your eyes look outstanding! ❤

I think some primers are better than others. Some give a bit of shine to the skin, some have more 'grip' to make the foundation last longer and some have smoothing 'effects'.... and some do nothing😂😂 just take your money😂😂.. but yes, that foundation looks quite nice, seemed to wear pretty good, I'm going to put it on my list of ones to try when I buy my next foundation. Thank you ❤❤❤

I like some of the primers because they help the foundation glide over my face. But the kind I really think makes a difference for me, are the "gripping" primers. It seems they make the foundation stay in the places I applied it, better than none at all. It seems as if my foundation kind of slides down my face a bit without it. the pore concealing primers do NOTHING for me. I also don't use foundation brushes, because all those do is rub it in my pores, and off the surrounding skin. Giving me a BIG orange peel (polka dot) look! YUCK

Re the redness: I heard this skin guy the other day on YT say that caffeine in skincare works to reduce the appearance of spider veins, it makes them go further away from the surface, well that's what he said. (Or maybe it constricts them and makes them smaller, I forget, but he said caffeine works.) I'm going to get a caffeine serum and try it because I have some rosacea on my nose I can't budge, but I was thinking if it works for those, it should work for all redness because they're all caused by more or less the same thing which is capillaries too close to the skins surface. I found one by The Ordinary at Sephora which isn't that expensive so am going to try using that.
