I cannot accept calls at times on my Moto G 2nd Gen...when i try to accept the call its simply rejected i tried installing different call receiving apps and even tried formatting the device but nothing seems to help...please let me know if any one else also faces a similar issue and are there any solutions ? The new Moto G is better than the ZenFone 5, because of its faster Snapdragon 400 chipset, dual front facing speakers and better battery life. It is also running pretty much stock 4.4 and is guaranteed to get the Android L update.

the only "edge" is the 4g connectivity, while the new MotoG is better software-wise and even design-wise, in my opinion. For me, front facing speakers are the only thing I miss on my crappy phone

If you have any doubt about this phone just ask , if you are on a budget and want a decent android phone i 'd totally go with the Moto G , I'm using it right now and I installed over 10 apps and games and the UI never lags. Can't wait to see what Motorola will bring us on the Future , pair this up with the Motorola Smartwatch and you're ready to go!

Battery life is actually not that good ...they should have given a bigger battery ...lasted only 3 to 4hrs of WiFi usage some gaming ,watching videos ...

Valid question ignore the idiot before you. I had an S3 but now it is stolen, it was a wonderful phone! the G2 actually seems to be a tad bid cheaper than the S3 and has very similar specs. I would presume that both phones are about the same spec wise. The S3 however has Samsungs touch wiz UI as an overlay which at rare times resulted in stuttering. I doubt the moto G2 has that due to it running stock android. I would recommend the G2 as it is newer and probably has support for a far longer duration than the S3. :) However I could imagine that the S3 would have a better camera, so if that is a dealbreaker for you then the S3 is the way to go. Again I am not sure about this :)

My only problem is the 1 GB RAM. It is definitely good enough for now, but 2 years down the line it wouldn't able to handle the android version releasing at that time. That for nullifies the Software updates (This and Stock android is why I want this device) Because the phone wouldn't be able to handle it with 1 GB RAM
