Hello my friend. Good to see you back haven’t seen anything for a couple weeks. Nice to see you helping out a newbie. Ride safe and watch out for others is my best advice for the new guy. BJ’s has great food we have one here to. Hope all is well there. Take care and god bless you all. David

Sub-D always being a homie. "we are 100% responsible for you, just let us do all the work" I remember how nervous I was to get on the highway for the first time back in the day. I am sure that was good to hear.

Sub D had my mouth watering for a motorcycle at the age of 16. Now, I'm 22, and working my way towards a gsxr 600. I'm super excited, but it going to cost me about 7-8k for everything I need. Thats about 4-5 months of work but it's it's worth it.

I can’t believe this, but I sold that BMW K1600 to the gentleman in your video when I was working at My local dealership (Tri-County Powersports in sales. Just left there last month to spend some time with my fiancé who is active duty. Hope he is enjoying that bike. Been watching your videos since 2015 or so and my brain exploded when I saw him and that bike again lol

yup , a 650 cc is a good starter bike, it is tamer, and better for the beginner rider. the 600 cc is way to fast to start on. that is why they made the 650. easier to control but less power. the 600 cc is an aggressive bike made for skilled riders that have more than 3 years of experience. no laws for determination in the U.S.A. for a starter bike. here , the rider uses their own judgement.

Welcome to the bike life brother. (didn't catch your name well enough to risk spelling it). Be confident but vigilant, not only about others but realizing complacency. The bike will fool you quicker than anything else on the road. Enjoy!

How don't they teach you that stuff in the States? Isn't it like an important part of a commute? Really got me scratching my head
@rongray84163 жыл бұрын
they teach all the usual stuff here in the states but they are pretty light on highway stuff...to be fair they figure most newbies are going to stick to regular roads and get that XP and gradually build up to highways and for the most part they are right as a lot of roads are just long straight patches with wide turns so new riders really are just learning to go faster.. Also highways here are also not totally the same between east and west coast so the riding can be different like New York vs California...but the principle is the same
@elarr87333 жыл бұрын
Taking a class onto a freeway during the 8 hour beginner MSF course would be a donkey show. You stick to local roads until the only real difference you're going to notice is the wind blast when you go on the highway. You notice the bars feel more solid. ::shrug:: We live.
