❤❤❤You. We the fans who read the first one with the two alternate endings, were a basket case because it was so emotional and at the same time reality and life. It can hit you at any given time wether you are rich or poor, famous or unknown, but it was the sad ending that had me so distraught that when I saw this and started reading it I immediately got a flashback of that sad ending. This was what Love through the good times and the bad times, ups and downs, sickness and health story telling is about. Absolutely Beautiful. I have to admit the thought of reading this again with the other ending made me not want to. but something said go on. You changed the ending to a happy one so very beautiful. Oh CJ you did it you really did it. I tortured myself I could have started reading it earlier but it was like having a box of delicious chocolates you keep, not wanting to open them as you know they will all be eaten,so I started early this evening and it was so worth it, though I said after reading the first one that the ending was what was best for them, both maybe this one was the best for some readers. I would love to see how they manage as parents or even go back to the adoption process and did they face any prejudice. But what ever you decide we know it will be good,have a great weekend 💜☘️💜

What a beautiful story! It was all the more delightful after enduring the beautiful heartbreak of the first version with Jimin’s devastating heartbreak and desperate need to follow Jungkook. Loss can be so lonely and unbearable. This version helps to put a new light on their romance. I have often wondered how two romantics, so totally engulfed in each other, could happily incorporate parenthood into their love affair. A small but enticing glimpse into Jikook as parents! I would love to read more about this point of view! All in all, a job well done! Thank you, CJ!

I skipped ahead to the last 30ish minutes because I had to know 🤭 but I’ll go back and watch the whole movie. This ending was so beautiful!! I remember I read a story a long time ago and the last chapter was written in two different ways, one horribly sad and hopeless and the other positive and hopeful. It was random which version would load. My first read I got the happy ending. Then years later I reread the story and got the ending that just sucked all hope out of everyone in the story. I wished I hadn’t reread it even though I still think about that Fic fondly to this day. I’m glad I got to read such an uplifting ending AFTER reading the other ending of Saltwater and not the other way around! Thank you for these happy tears 🥹

Loved this ending, thank you CJ❣️ My two most moving lines to read… Jimin saying to Jungkook right before he was wheeled into surgery, “ you are good at everything, be good at this too.” I was almost sobbing! 😩 The other one was when Jungkook had brought up having kids before the surgery telling Jimin he needed a dream to look forward to…then he whispered…please…🥹 Well that was it for me as well, could hardly keep reading because my eyes were so full of tears! I read the story and I had to stop reading for a moment. When you mentioned the procedure I remembered how my father had to go through something similar during the epidemic the UK went through in '99. I eventually managed to finesh reading the story between a few spilled tears. I must confess it was tough reading something so painful about a person you adore. I haven't read the alternate ending yet but I'm glad that I got to read a very beautiful painful story.
