@@xxANUB1S there's a number of reasons the second season was bad. They had a massive cut un their budget, but Mackey just didn't seem anything like the original character. Everything he did was completely different. The writing was bad, and the special FX were bad. Mackey wasn't good at the fight scenes and the whole show sucked, after the first season, which was one of the best cyberpunk sci-fi shows ever, the second with Mackey was the biggest disappointment imaginable. It's probably not 100% his fault, but he sucked in it, and he isn't great in most movies.

I only skimmed through the trailers and i agree with you somewhat, but i think it would be all okay if they would show that they really are the bad guys, how they tragically suffered and because of it keep to suffer and how they are lonely *because* they chose the evil path. Im afraid movies/shows are going through a villain arc themselves, through the last few years. It will continue until somthing happens where hope is needed. I'm also all against the gore as it has no value nowdays, just a shock factor that numbs people. It's okay to show from time to time some gore to make a clear point or to evaluate the story. But how its everywhere now just strips away all the meaning of it. The same with swearing, when a serious movie/show has no swearing at all but then out of nowhere there is this "fuck". It shocks, it makes the scene to hit so much harder and evaluates the point of the scene so much more. Im hopeful tho, the recent trend seems to be people wanting to be more hopeful for example the Superman/starman memes and the recent superman show. Thats one of the reasons i actually like animation movies/shows more. They are so much more hopeful and very often really mature, although it has its fair share of nihilistic examples.

I never expected to ever see The Crow remade, but without Brandon, it will never be the real thing. However, hopefully it'll be better than any of the sequels.

I would haver accepted this as another sequel and been excited but since it actually is Eric and Shelly it will be compared directly which means it likely will be bad. I don't mind the third one but the second and fourth were bad.
