MTH does the best crew talk, it’s actually entertaining. I wish Lionel would do the same one day

Larry at Holly Beach is a great guy! I picked up the first run of this engine and never have run it, I moved and never put a layout up again. Cool to finally hear this run! I wonder if the first run has the same sounds. I also model PRSL since I grew up in South Jersey...My grandparents lived on 26th Street in Camden right up the street from Pavonia Yard...I actually drove a switcher as a kid thanks to a kind engineer.... I also rode the Budd cars to Atlantic City as a kid with my grandfather.... Awesome memories! This why I modeled the PRSL! Thanks for the Video!

That new engine of yours is making me extremely jealous! I love the PRSL, I like the PS3 ALCO Diesel Rumble, and the PFA which based itself around the PRSL area is something special! Thanks for sharing!

I go to Wildwood every summer for you beach vacation. Holly Beach is a great shop! I picked up a Lionchief 0-8-0 last summer that I’ve done up for NKP. Walking down the boardwalk with new trains is a great experience everyone should try

Very cool! Let me know if you’re down that way this summer, I’m probably on your way. Welcome to come by and run some stuff

It's an all black paint job simple easy peasy can you use a pair of scissors? Then you can order the decals and paint an engine solid black and simply put the decals on you don't have to be a mechanic this was regular everyday h o Railroad in the old days if you wanted a locomotive to fit your prototype you painted it and you detail it yourself.
@erictrainman Жыл бұрын
It’s actually Brunswick green. Could I custom paint it myself? Absolutely. But by the time I buy the model, the paint, the custom decals. I really don’t save enough to justify the hours to strip it, prime, paint, do the stripes, etc. if I can buy a model with the paint job I want, it’s better for me personally
@genemanno1533 Жыл бұрын
@@erictrainmanI’m assuming the point was it is always a personal feeling of accomplishment to do it yourself. Anybody can just shell out the cash and buy it all done. Color selection or color mixing will solve Brunswick green requirement. There are plenty of video’s on striping in non costic solutions and spray painting if one has never done it before.

Great detail on that engine. Probably the worst diesel horn I've ever heard...like the badly done lionel mpc era diesels. The engine sounds themselves are first rate
@frankmarkovcijr5459 Жыл бұрын
It is simply the old Premier model. Krewtok is so indicative of the useless crap they have on these locomotive you cannot hear the crew speaking on the radio from the outside of the locomotive even if they were screaming into the microphone. Any at all sound effects become cacophonous noise after a while and then it gets turned off just like the smoke unit any diesel that smokes like a toy diesel does would be on its way to the shop. Any steam locomotive putting out smoke like a toy train would have the firemen called on the carpet for overfiring the engine. You guys loved all the bells and whistles until the bells and whistles stop working and you have a heart attack when you see how much it is going to cost you to get it fixed. Let me put it this way myo 27 mph turbine had a short circuit MTH wanted more than what I paid for the train to fix it then they wanted me to pay postage so I could get it back and I told them they could throw the piece of shit out in the garbage. I have many of the conventional subway car set and their add-ons I have lots of their Rolling Stock and I bought four of their train set for the same price as the separate sale locomotive with the PS2. You pay more for the electronics inside the locomotive that what you pay for the whole locomotive. That's why I have 50 Williams locomotive.

Cool. I like all the bells and whistles. To each his own 🤷♂️
