I think this scent was done perfectly.. warm amber, vanilla and cashmere.. if this had the original Alien DNA it would not work.. and I love Alien. And for me this is perfect for a transitional scent into Autumn. I do not not detect any coconut.. (ps coconut water does not smell like coconut).

I'm amused by how many youtubers have criticized this perfume for being "unoriginal." And yet a big part of the reason they complain is because it's not familiar enough. There is nothing innovative or original about a flanker. Flankers are to fragrances what sequels are to movies. And those are hardly original. Now I love flankers as much as anybody, but I recognize that part of their appeal is in their familiarity, not in their innovation or originality. I think Goddess is a lovely fragrance, and I love wearing it. And counter to what so many people seem to feel, I'm delighted that they didn't just create yet another slightly different version of a fragrance that I have five different versions of already.

As someone who always wanted to love a Mugler scent but just didn't like them - I LOVE this scent. I really really tried to love the original Alien and Angel scents + flankers. They always smelled awful to my nose. I'm so happy to have an alien scent now and I think it smells BEAUTIFUL!

I purchased Alien Goddess a few months ago. I was not familiar with the original Alien perfume at all. What I did already own was Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc and the two are so similar. I find that Alien Goddess is a bit warmer and has more vanilla to it. I love both scents and am so happy to have stumbled upon Alien Goddess because Soleil Blanc is so expensive. Thank you for all of your recommendations and careful/detailed reviews ☺️

Coming from someone who just recently learned to appreciate the original Alien I can see why folks are upset about this new flanker. I am now Obsessed with original Alien & know it will always be in my collection from here on. However, I think in the initial spray of A-Goddess you can smell a faint trace of the OG but it completely disappears in the dry down & becomes it’s own scent. It’s a beautiful perfume nonetheless but could easily have been a new Mugler. As always, appreciate your reviews! Love your videos!

I do NOT love Alien. I find it heavy, too mature /serious and suffocating. I do love Angel. But Goddess??? Omg. This perfume is HEAVEN!! Its a beach-coconutty vanilla scent but EXPENSIVE, luxurious, young, fun, happy scent. LOVEEE

I just recently purchased a travel spray of this scent and really love it! I was very surprised how long it lasted on my skin…most vanillas don’t last on me… I work at a restaurant and could Still smell this on my forearms the next mourning after I wore it to work and went to bed. This is really great for everyday in the summer in my opinion.

I totally agree that this is nothing like the original Alien! But I had no expectations of it, I just saw it in the store and sprayed it on, and I really liked it even though it’s sweeter than what I usually wear. I mostly get coconut from this! I’m not sure if I would purchase it, because I already have Clean summer day, which I think smells quite similar with all the coconut. Oh by the way, I really didn’t enjoy Soliel cristal, it just happens to be one of those ones that turns very Play-Doh on my skin. Whereas alien goddess was more crisply sweet if that makes sense Lol Anyways, great review and I agreed with you on everything! 😊

I am not a huge fan of Alien and I note that that most people who don't like Alien love this flanker. Your enthusiastic description also makes me want it more now too, even though you are an Alien lover. That bottle is gorgeous too and will look great on my dresser. Your dog is a cutie btw.❤

I actually get jasmine and coconut from this scent. To me, I can definitely see the resemblance to Alien because of the slight jasmine note.

I like sweet scents and I don't like citrus, but I like this one alot! I just got introduced to Alien, haven't tried other flankers either, so I'm not really comparing to the original. I just like it!

I think Sunkissed Hibiscus by Nest is very similar and much less expensive 😊 also Coconut Cove by Skylar is another beachy scent but that one is much stronger on the coconut and has ambrox in it.

I’ll have to smell alien again. It’ll probably bring back memories because my mom used to have it and loved it so big nostalgia vibes probably. I did smell this one and I agree that it doesn’t fit the house of Mugler. Also RIP Thierry! 😞 really hope they keep the authenticity of this house and Loreal won’t ruin it by reformulating everything. You can be a fan or not but yeah like you said Mugler is known for it’s polarising and unique scents, please let that stay!

I recently bought it. And I love it however I missed the Mugler train. I’m working backward to his scents. I did smell both at Ulta and noticed it’s totally opposite of the original. I do have Angel Nova I recently purchased and I like it it’s what made me gravitate towards his house.

Cute video. I agree with what you say. I discovered Alien last year (late, right?) and fell in love with it. Now Goddess is not that unique. I have smelled lately My Way Intense, Idole Aura, even Narciso Musc Noir For Her and they all smell the same: crowd-pleasing and nice, but not unique.

I got my hands on a few samples of this scent and I can only smell alien but like a cleaner version - without the warmth if that makes sense. However my friend says thinks it smells like me in that I layer aura and womanity together and to her alien goddess smells like womanity and aura mixed together. Which I thought was interesting. I might have to compare again one arm alien goddess, one arm aura and womanity layered and see if I agree as that would make my life easier 😁

I think its better than the dark Alien! The only thing is that its too strong if you apply more than need it. But its how its suppose to be an original perfume, in my opinion....And there is coconut inside, and its what i like most.

I really like Angel, but it started to smell funny try to me.. to the point where it reminds me of an older lady and play doh. In fact most of the compliments I got were from women in their 60s. I got Alien, but Im just not sure, I'm trying to like it but feel as though for something that expensive I need to love it. I do love that they project so well and last, which is why I want to love it. Driving to the perfume store and being hovered over seems agro, but really these blind buys aren't working out lol

Yes. Angel nova smelled nothing like angel but it was strong projected and lasted on me. Same with alien godess. Just as as they keep angel snd alien and dont ruin it too much with a reformulation. I do miss angel muse that is the best flanker.

I think ppl keep missing out on the fact this is a great perfume because it’s constantly compared to alien. If ppl didn’t do that, I think they would appreciate it more because this is really a perfectly done fragrance. When she said KKW, I was like hard pass.... Celebrity brands are there for money. There's no thought out quality put behind them, with the exception of Rhianna who put alot of thought behind her launch and foundations. Nowadays I think her brand is moving more towards the average brand though.

I think it lasts a decent amount. Its no way comparable to the lasting power of the original Alien which literally lasts on me for DAYS. But i would say you get a solid 6 hours of wear out of it which i think is good😌
