I agree. It`s nice but definitely not a flanker of the OG. I think the people that are disappointed were expecting a true Angel flanker. If it had been sold as a totally new fragrance I think reviews would have been better.

Hello gorgeous Gabi. I was very curious to hear your opinion on this new Angel elixir being a hard fan of the original. I'm also very curious to try it. Sometimes we just need to appreciate the scent without having the emotional attachment to the ones we know and love. Sometimes we just need to wear "basic" and "boring" scents. Not every day we need our Salomes, Angels, and Portrait of a Lady 😁Today I'm wearing Chloé the original and it's lovely. I will have to try this one. A big kiss ❤.

They should have given it a different name because it does not have the original Angel DNA, but I love it!!! It is a very sexy vanilla dry down. It has great performance! I also will never get tired of the original Angel and original Alien either. I'm jealous that you have vintage Angel. I'm definitely getting a full bottle before they start messing with the formula, like they did the original Angel. Great and fair review. Maybe I'm partial, but I think this is better than the others you compared it to (Opium, Donna born in Roma, etc.). This is sexier and has lasting power. ❤

I tested this around a month ago and have not stopped thinking about it since 😳 It's a memorable one! It's definitely likeable, but most shockingly of all for a 'modern fragrance' it actually lasts!! On me at least 12 hours or more and the tester strip for days and days 😱 It is expensive, but has bang💣 for your buck 😁🥰 xx

For Angel lovers this is probably going to be disappointing. On the other hand, I think what people call ‘basic’ scents are often beautiful and special to me, at least. I definitely try this one out since OG Angel isn’t for me.

Ive been waiting to see your take on this fragrance and I agree with you. Its absolutely nothing like angel, However its still a decent fragrance, just not angel...nor an elixir. I did get a 50ml bottle of it and ill wear it for sure, but I just hope mugler can do more interesting things in the future. Instead of just discontinuing actually good fragrances. Hi Gabi, I guess no one should be surprised with what this is. All the Angel flankers don't resemble the OG fragrance. Perhaps they should have made a white bottle because in my opinion that could better reflect the perfume juice. Dark blue should have been left for a true OG perfume (in my opinion). I will say I wish it was a return to the original. I like patchouli though... Which isn't trending in fragrance currently. They must be trying to make what sells best according to testing. I am glad you are enjoying the fragrance for what it is. It's sometimes nice to get a happy surprise. I am alway happy to see your content. 💙 Take care! 💛~ Jenn

I really dislike the direction that L’Oréal is taking the brand. I wish they would bring back Womanity and come up with more unique scents like they used to. I agree, this one is “nice,” but there is nothing unique or special about it.

As Angel being my signature scent and favorite of all time . I do approve the latest Nova and Elixir , yes they dont have anything to do with the original . But they are attracting entirely new generation to keep the brand name alive and give new aspect of the Mugler name . We all know his fragrances are unique strong , obnoxious and not for everyone , but with those new releases brings entirely new custumers to join the family and experience the Mugler circle. Do I like to feel like a basic bitch or everyone else from time to time YES I DO so no problem from me for those crowd pleasing new releases . As long as they keep the originals it's ok .
