NEW Multichromes from Lethal Cosmetics... How I like to use black based multichromes

I'm SO glad I got the Wolves palette when it first released! I checked during their sale and saw it was sold out, and was very happy for you. This is currently my favorite palette...I recently used it to do my makeup for profile pictures for my employer's website and the photographer even commented on my eyes....which is saying something, considering I'm 60 with very hooded lids. I used your palette (and some tricks learned from KZbin) to make my eye look like they had a crease and dimension, then used the shimmers to brighten things up...very beautiful palette, even for us 'older, wiser' subscribers...probably my favorite of the year! I also got the Norns palette during their sale, as well as trying the blush and lip products after watching your review of those...my family is Scandinavian (from Norway and Denmark), so I love the Norse Mythology stories behind the products. So happy for your success with this palette!

All of the names have something to do with astronomy, so I think FRB in this case stands for Fast Radio Burst. Apparently they are a massive and incredibly fast burst of energy coming from somewhere out in space. Nobody really understands them.

I already have some of these shades from Clionadh and Terra Moons, especially after watching Millie's video, but I'm psyched to see more multichromes. Side note: I just got Dualine and I'm in love. I scraped a bright matte and an iridescent multichrome, both powders, added the duraline and it made an amazing eyeliner and it even stayed in the waterline amazing. I don't think the mixing medium would wreck your liner's wear, give it a shot I guess.

Lethal is really growing thats for sure.... I have dupes to the black to red multichrome it really is a unique color! All I saw on the finger with that black one was solid green I’m so obsessed with the shifts in that I’ve never seen a shade like that , and I have lots of Glaminatrix and Clionadh I’m so very confused but in the absolute best way.

This palette looks so amazing!! I always hesitate getting multichromes. I think they are absolutely breathtaking but as most of my makeup is just for pictures I don’t think they are able to shine to their full potential. These are so underhwelming. They cost the same as Clionadh, but are less shiny/shift. I am glad European customers have options, though I also wonder if buying Terra Moon with international shipping would get them a better product for less?

Terra Moon or Clionadh with international shipping plus import tax is way overpriced for most European customers. These shades are expensive, but they’re good quality, also in comparison with the few Clionadh multichromes that I have.

Ordering from America to Europe easily cost 60$ + cost of products Its shipping (25$) +vat+import tax + import fee. And if something isn't declared properly you pay additional fees that can very quickly be way more.

No it wouldn’t. Shipping, VAT and customs make the price go double or triple sometimes. Nor to mention the delivery time which can take up to two months. So yes, we Europeans are desperate to get some good multichromes for less hassle.

In addition to the comments above which I agree with, watching BadtotheBrows video, these aren't demonstrably less shifty or shiny compared to terra moons (who personally I find overrated), or other brands. Some of clionadhs shadows are less shifty and shiny too.

I’ve noticed with Allie Dawson’s videos, when she swatches on her right arm they show up perfectly but for some reason the left arm never catches it. So maybe try that? It could just be her lighting? But would be an interesting test.

I don't see you using a lot of colourpop on your channel and I have to say I really appreciate it honestly. I don't get the hype about colourpop. I bought a few items from them this year but nothing blew my socks off. I don't love their shimmers in particular especially now that there are so many special shimmers out there.

I understand what you mean about not doing eyes first. I usually do fairly blown out sorts of looks and if I try to do that first then it gets covered by my base products. I'll just be over here with my weird speckles of colours on my cheeks...I really don't care. 😂

I bought these because I don't have multichromes form any other brand (other than the one in the Berlin palette from Lethal and the odens eye collaboration palettes , including your collaboration with them 😍). I have been looking at clionadh and Terra moons and other brands, but I haven't bought any. So I don't expect to have dupes in my collection.

Do you have more collaborations planned in 2022? If you could collab with any brand, aside from your previous collaborations, which brand would you choose? I'd probably pick clionadh, Natasha denona or glamlite maybe. I mean I don't think ND even does them but if she did I'd do a colorful palette and lip products with her I think lol. I love glamlite but haven't been excited by their releases in 2021. Idk there are so many amazing brands. I love clionadh multichromes most in my collection. If it weren’t for the original price that Clionadh set them for, would it be worth asking if the market would be completely different? Let’s face it, it is possible to buy multichromes for $7 each in other countries.

It's like everything you buy. You pay for different aspects. With these lethal ethically source their ingredients which increases the costs. They are a small company and pay good wages in a European country. We all know cheaper doesn't mean equivalent, but yes, you can get some multichromes cheaper. These give other people and option if funds are there.

With multichromes it’s the cost of pigment that makes them expensive, so regardless of the brand they are just more expensive shadows to make.

As they become more popular the cost will drop due to the ability to increase profit through mass production but certainly at the beginning of this craze they were rare and expensive no matter where you sourced them or how (even sourcing the base pigment to make your own). Now they're a bit cheaper because they're selling in massive quantities.

These look so lackluster, yet are priced the same as some of the more established multichrome brands. And before you say anything, I don't live in the US or EU, so it would be practically the same if I got it from either, but this one feels a bit like a cash grab for me. They might be better for someone who likes more satin/subdued shades, but not if you really want an impactful, very shifty eyeshadow. And yes we all know that using a black base and or a glitter adhesive enhances any multichrome, however at that price point it shouldn't be a requirement. And just a pro tip, there are some brands on Alibaba that sell shades very similar to these, for a fraction of the price, even with express shipping. And those honestly look more impactful than these.

I would never order cosmetics from China directly. If a trader is sending them from China and has lead in them well good luck getting compensation for your health issues because the Chinese government doenst help forigners. Therefore you have a higher Chance to get contaminated makeup. If lethal does the same they are liable by european law and will probably go bancrupt. I d rather go with lethal - my health is more worth to me than 7$.

@@myriamh.2182 A lot of the newer smaller indie brands are just repackaging products that are sold on Alibaba. I would give names but it's not worth getting harassed by a bunch of stans. If you just look up multichrome liners and such they are exactly the same as the ones sold on Alibaba, just overpriced. Have you ever wondered how such small brands are popping up left and right and offering multichrome pressed shadows, multichrome liners, multichrome 9 pan palettes etc? You are already consuming products that come from China, most pigments come from China. So them being contaminated or not would be hard to prove, even for your beloved indie brands. Do you honestly think that they test their pigments before pressing them? Do you just know how expensive testing makeup is? You do you, I'm not paying close to 20 dollars an eyeshadow, when in some cases it's just stuff from Alibaba repackaged. Also by that logic, every brand that has their products made in China would have contaminated eyeshadows. That includes brands like Kaleidos who are literally a Chinese brand or even Oden's eye, since they have never hid the fact their shadows are made in the PRC. At some point you have to practice what you preach, if you don't buy from China then that includes all brands that make eyeshadows in China because they might be contaminated, unless they come forward and show us their testing of their palettes. Or you can continue to demonize an entire country even though literally every product that you use in your daily life has a component that comes from China.
