for anyone wondering and want to go down the rabbit hole. there's a reason you have seen soccer players and nba players partner with Call of Duty but you don't see the same with the NFL, but the NFL's presence was very clear in the CDL if looking at the names of teams and colors. Rokker got a viking just like the Minnesota vikings, Miami has the same colors as the dolphins. I think complexity although they didn't have a franchise their colors are Blue and white with a star as the symbol because they are owned by jerry jones or he's a majority stake holder. So the NFL is very clearly in esports and specifically in the CDL. Also Keep in mind Johanna Faries CAME FROM the NFL before bobby stepped down and microsoft made her the head of COD. But the primary reason you don't see these cross overs with NFL players is because COD is STILL being used as a recruiting tool by the US military, and when you possibly go into combat you could suffer from head trauma , you could end up with CTE etc. You're probably putting 2 and 2 together at this point, high athletic achieving highschool football players who aren't big enough or fast enough to go pro have typically been the target of military recruiters. Many of these guys ALSO have suffered concussions and the max amount you can roughly take in ones life before real damage occurs is 3 maybe 4 events. So the Military is likely playing some role in coordinating these athlete cross overs because you'll notice they are coming from NON contact sports that also align with a demographic and combined demographics the military LOVES to recruit from... Minority AND POOR.

NBA is alright you wanna do with sports, fine do it even tho it doesn't match the "violence" between the 2 but whatever. Why not TV shows/movies that actually has naturaly violence with guns on them like John Wick, Jack Reacher, other fantasy ones that are mainstream right now or were like Robocop. A lot of CODs have the 93R inspired machine pistol, the Renetti but none put a Robocop operator with his iconic gun which is a modded 93R. Yes, we have a Robocop game now, as we had a Terminator game back in Vanguard and didn't hold them off to buy the licence to put in the game so... They even released recently a bundle that has a brain + eyes inside a little tank that it is literally the Brain's Cain scene from Robocop 2 movie so... And in Zombies these operators would be so cool too with voice lines. John McLane and Judge Dreed were the only operator that i used in CW and Terminator was the only one that i used on Vanguard, Mara in 2019. Other than that just use default to look (and play) like a bot.
