New Mystery Redemption Explained + Why You'll See Caleb in Panini Products Very Soon

I appreciate all of you guys sharing your redemption pulls and which products/formats you got them from! Hopefully we start seeing some of those fulfilled really soon! Also, with Caleb Williams on the checklist for Panini Origins, I'd imagine he's in the rest of the sets released afterwards (e.g. Donruss, Prizm, Optic, Select, etc.) Link to checklist (Base Card 151): gogts.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/2024-Panini-Origins-NFL-Football-Cards-Checklist.pdf His XRC cards have also been created and distributed as of 10/8. Also, it may be possible that Panini is using this as a way to get a few Caleb cards into the earlier sets after the fact. Remains to be seen how they'll distribute the rookies they decide to choose for this season or how many they'll end up choosing.

Good question. Man I’ve built mine back up to 4400 points. Every time someone cool that would cost that it’s long sold out. For example a 2023 Zenith T.Lawrence auto was 4200 points. Those white packs for 3500 are always gone as well. Guess you’ve gotta look every single day to have a chance.

@@zoclipse8989 those are selling for around $150 right now. At that price, I would personally keep and see what kind of card it is, especially since it’s #1. If they’re gathering a list of high performing rookies throughout the season, I’d imagine the best one gets card #1. Only downside is Luminance is not the most popular set so the value may not be as high as a redemption from origins, gold standard, etc. just my 2 cents

I just redeemed a redemption card from retail jumbo packs mystery number 6. It takes 4 months to get the card or exchange it for points. I chose to wait until they semd the card. I the shipping is free on the redemption card. My issue with these people selling them for $100s of dollars or less in the $69 range what it you buy one and the actual card isn't worth much after paying $100s of dollars I.asssumd the numbers corresponds with the rookie that is in that draft spot

Hmmm up to you! Since this is all new, I might lean towards redeeming if it were me, but keep in mind that Score as a whole will probably be the least valuable set out of the bunch. It could end up being a cool insert or something like that though so that’s why I would personally redeem it. Doesn’t seem to be selling for a whole ton either

It should be for whatever product you pull it out of. So the Score redemptions will end up being score football cards/inserts. Could be base rookies, parallels, or "rare" inserts according to that blog post so some of them are definitely going to be common pulls if so (I'm guessing the higher number redemptions are way more common)

@@Jason-zh9vf the dude in the video explains it pretty well, but a short summary is. Yk how puka nacua came outta no where and didn’t have any cards? Well what they are doing is, 5 rookies who aren’t well known now and don’t have cards that play very well and will be desirable are going to the cards one of which you have a redemption of. I have mystery player 3 I think, there is only gonna be 5. And whatever card number you have is whatever autograph version of the card you get. I’m assuming the higher number the better I would think but I’m not sure. I got 403 so I’m hoping that means it will be low numbered. But what your redemption will turn into is an autograph card of a really good rookie from this season that currently doesn’t have cards. So it’s going to be a good player regardless which is cool

@@makeouthill2007 yup just keep in mind that it may not be an autograph. They mention that it could be base cards, parallels, or rare inserts. How that is distributed can be up to interpretation since their blog post is somewhat vague when it comes to exactly how many players and cards will be chosen. It’s also possible that Caleb Williams is actually one of those players since he technically ”doesn’t already have cards in those early programs” as they mentioned as one of the criteria. After more sets have released and I’ve had more time to think about this and see the rarity of these since I posted the video about a month ago, I think the lower the number mystery rookie redemption, the better the player. There’s also different parallels (gold/10, etc.) and card numbers listed on these redemptions that make it even more intriguing, but I’m assuming like you said, the card number probably determines the version of the card for that player. It’ll be fun to see what they do with this! Hope you guys all get something awesome!
