20:15 The way to solve these types of riddles is sort of like a trial and error method. You first choose one statement to be true (since they usually say that only one statement is true). That would mean that the other statements are false. So you go through each statement based off of which you think is true. If 2 or more statements end up being true, then the one that you thought to be true, must be a lie. You keep doing this until only one statement is true while the rest are false. Usually, it is easier to chose ones that state something about themselves. In this case, you could choose the microwave. If it is true, than the lunch isn't in the microwave. That would mean that the oven statement "Your lunch is here" would be false. This would also mean that the washer statement "It's either in the fridge or in the microwave" would also be false. And the fridge statement "It's either in the oven or in the washer" would be false as well. This creates a problem because based off of the notes, the lunch isn't hidden in any of the four places. This means that the Microwave statement has to be false since it being true did not work out. That would mean that the lunch is in the microwave, so the oven statement would be false, the fridge statement would be false, but the washer statement would be true. That doesn't mean it's in the washer though, because the statement doesn't say that it is in the washer. It states that it is either in the microwave or the fridge. I hope this helped!

20:12 How I solved it, They state in the riddle that only one of the notes that were posted is true, If the note on the oven was true, the note on the fridge is also true. If the note on the fridge was true, the note on the microwave is also true. If the note on the microwave was true, that would mean the note on the washing machine wasn't, which means that it would be in the oven, but the note on the oven says its in there which would be agreeing with the washing machine Since the note on the washing machine is true, you can reverse all the notes on everything else and the note on the microwave then changes from "your lunch isn't in here " to "your lunch IS in here" Wow I made my own brain hurt just typing this.

FRIDGE: washer or oven (false) WASHER: Fridge or microwave (true) MICROWAVE: it isn’t here (false) OVEN: it’s here (false) The main thing about this is that only one at a time can be true. Fridge says "It's either in the Oven or the Washer" Washer says "It's either in the Fridge or the Microwave" Microwave says "Your lunch isn't here" Oven says "Your lunch is here" Only one note is correct, so you needed to find the one that doesn't align with the others. The fridge note said the lunch was either in the oven or washer, which aligns with the oven note saying the lunch was in there, as well as the microwave note which said the lunch isn't there. Therefore, the washer is the odd one out and is the truth. The only problem left is to figure out if the lunch is in the fridge or microwave, luckily the microwave note said that the lunch wasn't there but the note itself lies for only one tells the truth which was already established as the washer note. Therefore, the lunch is in the microwave. i'm a dork ;w;

I get I'm far beyond late, but for the lunch riddle at 20:00 the reason why it is the microwave is because (remember only 1 note can be true): - If the note on the fridge was true, that would mean that the "not in the microwave" note was also true. - If the note on the microwave was true, then the notes on the washer and the fridge would both be wrong, cancelling each other out. - if the "not in the oven" note was true, then that means the note on the microwave would also have to be true. So if the note on the washer is true, then the note on the microwave would be false, meaning that the lunch is in the microwave. F for lena ✌
