You are totally right with how Mediatonic should drive to game make it more memorable. They should separate custom made levels from developers content and make sure them they are in the loop in game for at least solid month. And those games should be in Duos and Squads as well!

Also, Pokemon Masters EX did this to Cheren and Bianca for the second Unova Neo Champion, which was better than Nate and Rosa's Neo Champion And Pokemon UNITE did this to Palace Style Mimikyu because it is the better version of Stage Style Gardevoir

You raised a lot of good points about MT creative levels being the driving force of Knockout. However, I feel there are several things that need to happen first for the 'unity feel' to really take shape - 1. More themed obstacles (we've been waiting 1.5 years + for just one to arrive!) 2. Set paths for moving objects/platforms + more objects that can move around. 3. Rising slimb & crown grab. 4. More shape options for platforms i.e. curve, fold or stretch them into any shape, especially curved slides. 5. More options in points levels e.g. bubbles to appear randomly in various locations. 6. A few more obstacles that can't be replicated in creative, like the inflatable balloon/frog, pinball flippers or Kraken tentacle. But on top of all that, taking creative maps out of knockout would feel far more reasonable if they did regular community creative knockout shows like that winter one from last christmas. Just something chilled where it doesn't matter AS much about testing, or being perfect for racing or learning tips and tricks etc.

The update ruined the purpose of Knockout and Explore. This Fame Pass is so bad, lots of unorignal costumes, like Mythical Scales is basically Drake Wear and Snakey Snack combined into a single costume. Okay, you're cooking, and I agree with most of this! I appreciate you giving me a second perspective. However, I don't feel knockout should be the place where this change is made. Knockout is something we held a lot of importance in from the start since now we feel more a part of the game with the chance of being featured there. I think a brand new show could be made exactly how the current knockout is. This would allow the creative community and the people that just want seasons to both have a middle ground. Knockout is our chance to showcase our work competitively, and the new show could allow mediatonic to bring back seasonal themes, as you said, without actually having seasons. ^ That's a whole Lotta yap🗣, but I love this game so so much, and it's worth it for the small chance it makes an impact

I wanna say that we must understand, that creative levels have worse level design than unity + you talked about the new backgrounds as a theme, when they need actual themes with new looking obstacles + Mediatonic should work much more than 24 hours in month so they can add a ton of content to creative mode. Like we still have only a few obstacles so we need more of them and new shapes as well

I disagree about Knockout having only MT rounds, i do get your opinion but for me it just won't work for a simple reason, Mediatonic themselves. I do love and support them but surely you must know as a long time FG fan that they've always struggled at keeping the game stable, and that explain why they decided to separate their rounds from the community ones, that way they won't have to do any playtest with the maps the community made, an explore-like show was the best way for them to get rid of that problem, but at the same time it mean that we now have to rely on them to get new rounds to the game, which honestly is something i'm worried about, cause it's MT, i'm betting we won't see frequent rotations or even new maps, they might add christmas maps next month in Knockout, but i'm pretty sure after that they'll just update the show every three months or so, which is too long.. It's a complicated situation, if they keep Knockout with UGC then having to playtest the maps would take them time, time they could spend by working on stuff the game need (bugs fixes, unvaulting content, adding new stuff to creative etc), but in the other end if they decide to stay on their position, then they have to make maps on a regular basis to keep Knockout fresh, which imo is not a good idea, not that their maps suck i think they're still solid, but i would rather see them focusing on creative itself, and make maps only when an update bring new features to the game to showcase them, like when they made rounds for the ball power-up last year or recently when hunt was released. That's how i see it, maybe i'm wrong but i think the latter would be easier for them
