If I'm honest I can't see myself picking up the light reflecting one...idk it's giving me expensive version of LYS foundation and I have that lol so all the benefits half the cost still a great foundation ya know? Plus I have sheer glow and she's bae so idk I'm not sold on the light reflecting foundation

The Light Reflecting Foundation really does live up to it's name. It looks very radiant and fresh on you. There have been so many new foundations this month already but I really think the finish of this one is so complementary to you. I definitely want to pick this one up in the next Sephora sale.

Love this review! So glad to see Nars expanding on the light reflecting line. They used to only have two shades-translucent and sunstone. The pressed is definitely more of a baked gelee formula. However, Sunstone in both the loose and pressed were some of my favorites. Especially on top of the NARS Longwear Radiance Foundation. I will definitely be picking up this latest expansion 🥰🙃. Plus my Kosa powder is on its way too 😁. So all kinds of goodies in my mailbox this week 😊

So tempting. It's looks beautiful!! Love a NARS foundations. I just purchased a reup on Sheer Glow prior to the announcement of then releasing this. In addition I just got the new Charlotte Tilbury foundation!! First impression wasn't great but the second time was a charm. I'm interesting in the new NARS foundation and powder. I'll check it out in the Spring/ Summer!!

Great review! I wondering what was the difference. I know everyone complains about the pump, but the pump is not recyclable, and for a consumer that one have one foundation, usually buys the same again and again. So it the big scale, if Nars knows that this foundation is one the favourite of people, they are doing something for the environment. Similar to Mac, I guess they know what is their bestselling foundation.

Hey, Chelsea! Thank you for this review & comparison. I love NARS products, but I always struggle to find a shade. The shade descriptions on Sephora are all different, so maybe I'll have a match now. I have the translucent crystal pressed powder, but I need to try one of the other shades. Your face looked AMAZING after applying the powder with the Smooth Buffer. 😍

The soft matte is great for my combo skin in the summer but not my northern winter. I mixed the light reflecting and a drop of soft matte. Omg! I can now wear my soft matte in the winter. The light reflecting showed up my pores alone but mixed it was great. Thanks for the comparison review.

How similar is Sheer Glow to Mother Pat's foundation? I've been trying to find my correct shade of Nars Sheer Glow for years 😔 so much so that I have the pump but no bottle. 🥴 I now think it's Tahoe but the comparison question is holding me back from purchase. I love Sublime Perfection Foundation so wondering if I still need Sheer Glow....

It does look like the under eye on the kosas side looks better, but I'm curious if the light reflecting powder works optimally with the light reflecting foundation for setting. Especially since the light reflecting is the only nars foundation that's not silicone based. Can't wait for your updates! Loved this video. But if not, I'm glad I already own the kosas. Lol.

Wonderful review whether you believe or not today morning while scrolling youtube videos, your comparison video of Tomford foundation popped up,immediately I searched nars comparison of yours ....tonight I watched this video ,I am surprised, I loved this new foundation, it's really a light reflecting foundation. Adding I almost got rid of the Dior Powder No Powder. I tried applying it with a dense powder brush from Rephr and that was a revelation!

I’ve realized why I keep going back to certain foundations. Quite a few high end foundations don’t have a match for me causing me to have to buy two bottles and mix.😰. Dior, Nars and Pat McGrath all have that issue: I have to mix 00 and 0, 1 and 2, and 2 and 4 in those brands. Mac, Huda, and Em Cosmetics have better matches for me that don’t require such a large purchase in terms of price. Loved this comparison!! Thank you Chelsea!!🥰

These are both gorgeous on you! I have oily skin and Sheer Glow is one of my favorite foundations. It gives me a healthy glow without looking greasy. Of course it's not long lasting at all but it doesn't claim to be so I definitely still recommend it for oily skin for days when you are up for a natural finish. I would love to try the light reflecting foundation but my shade is not there. Bahia is my skin in a bottle but Nars does not have it in all of their formulations which is so frustrating. I still can't find a decent match in their newest matte formula which I was so excited to try. Hopefully there's a match when I go in store.

Hi Chelsea! Thanks for the review. I do not see a difference between the two and both look good. Not sure about that powder, though. Have you noticed that NARS usually names their foundation shades after place names? Just just fyi, 'Cadiz' is a province in Spain and it is pronounced 'Kuh-deez'. Another odd color name is Huahine, which is an island in French Polynesia and is pronounced 'Hoo-a-he-nay'. I think they are an odd company for doing this, as it is not clear why they chose to do so...

Pronounced Kuh-deez. After Cadiz, Spain. Nars names all their shades after locations.
