My Coconut pods arrived yesterday and I tried the OL espresso. At first I thought exactly as you that it trended toward bitter and after I added our Silk Oat milk plus a tad of frothed whipping cream with coconut syrup in it on top. So so glad I have the Inissia & Vertuo because I definitely think I would prefer making lattes with the espresso pod for this over the Vertuo iced coffee pod. This is one reason why it is so good to have machine variety. And the pod is GORGEOUS!

Omg. I was Lucky and got a virtuo plus? For Christmas. Fab. I watched a bunch of you you tubes to learn how ( we had a very old original for lattes and such but nothing fancy) Now we’ve already gotten lots of other capsules from the boutique store ( 2 hours away! ). Hi Alex, loving your reviews and recipes, I live in Canada and I can’t get ahold of Chobani Flip creamer, I found Califa Farms Coconut cream and almond creamer. I used it with the Tropical Coconut Over Ice Vertuo pod. It was pretty good but still there was an artificial taste. I also had Torani Vanilla Bean syrup in it. Do you think that taste would come from the creamer or the syrup ? In your experience are these creamers a lot thicker than milk, this one seems to be? I think I only used 3 ounces of it but maybe that’s too much. Keep up the great work, loving it. Thanks

Creamers are thicker than milk for sure. I would maybe use your favorite milk and sweeten with syrup

I’ll try the mug size first with a little vanilla creamer. If I like that, I will try the espresso because I absolutely love iced lattes!

Usually the big pods end up watery because of how much water they already have while brewing but letting it cool definitely helps. I like using my hyper chiller because I’m impatient lol
