Though it feels weird considering the games from 2017. Mario, Zelda, Nier, and Persona are without new trailers and were all desperately waiting for them. Hopefully, we'll get news soon enough.

By the way, Nier Reincarnation, the gatcha game, was in deed Nier 3, that was confirmed by Yoko Taro himself, the (lots) of lore dropped there are all cannon, we all want to have a console sequel to Automata or a 3rd console game, for sure it will not be called Nier 3 or 4 or whatever, they never do that, they will problably call it Nier... something... but let's be very clear here, Reincarnation was in fact Nier 3 and anything inside a new game in the franchise will take it in consideration.

Not Nier 3. It would be Nier 4. Reincarnation is Nier 3 even though its mobile. This was confirmed by yoko taro. That being said I REALLY hope they are going to show a new NIER as its the best RPG series I have ever played. The story is second to none

Whether Nier has info for 2025 for not, I'm gonna be busy next year considering the number of games. Though no matter what, I'm hoping there's news for the fans

As good as Automata was, I'd still like to see a brand new story thousands of years in the future. Imagination seems to be missing in most games lately. Automata had it in spades. I trust that talent with the ability to come up with something both new and mindblowing. It's been a while since a game blew my mind. I miss it.

re:incarnation *was* nier 3. It shouldn'tve been shut down. if there is an offline version ever, that would be marketed as the third installment. it's incredibly sad that people who didn't play it missed so much vital lore that ties drakengard and the nier games together. It even had several hinted stories for potential post-automata games. I'm so mad they decided to kill it.
