I really enjoy your videos, in part, because of the effort you go to keep runs different and interesting. The whole 'resist' bit at 9:13 is a good example - you don't swing for the low hanging fruit if you've already done that, you keep it interesting. I think the big issue with Pyg is that so much of his pool consists of medium/large items that just aren't strong enough to justify the board space. So you're left with a limited pool of medium weapons and the infinite set-up. He's not versatile in the same way Dooley is or even Vanessa.

He also has so many items that are Pure Econ items. That serve Little to no purpose on your board at all and are designed to sit in your bag and generate resources somehow. These items are good, and can be very powerful used right but they pad out his item pool and leave you sometimes struggling to find the item you need to enable your board even though you have infinite money to look with.

The issue is there is no early or midgame property build support. It is basically lategame (which pyg has many better options for right now) or the highrolliest version of it (which would have probably been a better run if you did something else). Pyg's identity feels a bit lost this patch, and more than any balance with him, I hope he gets that identity back a bit next patch.

@@axelbostrom3606 Yeah, it kinda sucks right now. You could easily do Vineyard or Landscraper with Yo-Yo and Fort and some medium item like Bushel or something, but the problem you run in to is that you might not end up hitting on the skills you need to make it work. You could run Weights/Vineyard so you get the scaling on both Yo-Yo and Vineyard, but ideally you get the skill that increases damage and shield every time you use a property. Properties are used to supplement other things, they aren't used to make a property build. Mainly because they're too big and there's only so much you can do with four items. What do you do, run Fort/Vineyard/Landscraper/Uwashi and hoping you can stay alive long enough to stall and win? Cause I promise you that you're losing that. Especially right now. Pyg has a bunch of fun stuff he can build, which I really enjoy, the problem is that you're locked in to certain things with certain builds or else you just lose.

Had a fantastic run the other day doing a Vanessa weather glass run, ended up with ice cream truck (enchanted with slow), with skills that made that as well as my other items chain infinitely (when you slow charge a poison item). Lost my run to a bellista though because my unlimited freezes barely targeted bellista. Was absolutely gutted as the build was pretty unique and very fun (9 out of 10 wins).

One thing I think the current state of Bazaar is struggling with is only having the 3 characters available. Having so few characters means the player base is going to quickly figure out what is strong. With a few more characters to mix up the meta(s) it would mean that something broken might have more counterplay based of character matchups.

I ran a Pyg Nightshade build with the Equivalent Exchange skill, Lemonaide Stand, Toxic Hogwash & Uwashiwali Bird. It got extreme really quick, but too late in my run to make the full use of it
