In terms of appearance, the looser fit isn't too bad. It's still tapered, just less than before. I was expecting worse, to be honest. What I'm concerned about is the "thinner fabric," as you mentioned. I want warmth as I wear these (both the hoodie and the joggers).

Totally with you on that. When I tried it on, it definitely looked better than in pictures that were on the website. Based on my experience the fabric is made out of more less the same blend as the out going model, it’s just that the thickness of the fabric that’s used is lesser for this new model (I’d suspect it’s to make it light weight). Since it’s also loose fitting now I wouldn’t bet that it would be better for keeping warmth in as loosely fit clothing tends to have more circulation of air which in turn leads to better breathability. I would suggest going a size down to maximize warmth if that is what you value the most!

In terms of stretching, I didn’t really feel them with my pair, I would predict they would be more or less the same just because the blend of materials are the same as years prior.

I have always loved the light grey ones or the heather grey & I had a small stain on my OG joggers so went to buy another pair & could only find the color on finish line of all places. I didn't even realize they were a newer model so when I got them and tried them on I'd honestly had a minor anxiety attack. Had no idea what the problem was at first. Definitely frustrating at first because of how expensive they are, but you get what you pay for with these. You really do. I should've gone with an XS but as I said I didn't know it was a new model. I have found that it if you just fold over the part around the waist they fit perfectly. At the time I had no idea the fit would be different, and should've gotten the XS rather than small but nowhere did it say to size down.

Totally understand where you’re coming from! I was very frustrated with the change and after trying them out my conclusion was the new ones are good in their own way and they are worth the money to some extent depending on your wants. I also do think sizing down is a great option and nike didn’t even include that until recently on their website.

5'10" 173lbs I have to say.. this newer style jogger pants fit so different from before. I tried on medium when new and it fit just like this guy in the video so decided to go small to see if it was better. The fit was better but after washing it, the waist and butt area is a bit tighter than I prefer. Legs were still good. I'm a size 33-34 waist. Makes me kinda wish I stuck with medium. Probably would've been perfect after washing it. That's what I hate about clothes!

Yup right now that loose relaxed is back in, it makes sense why they went to that styling. With that said, tech fleece since it was introduced, was mainly slim fit. I think that is why people are caught off guard by it just from judging by the reviews on Nike’s site.

The quality in my experience is the same, I don’t think it’s all that much more different that past generation when I compared the fabric. I want to say it’s more breathe able when you buy true to size, however if you were to go down a size, I’d say it’s like it’s just as warm as the older one just because there’s less air and the fabric adheres to you.

The same blend of material is continued throughout the new line, although during my wear test it does seem to be a little bit more thin however, it really isn’t that noticeable during normal wear. All the colors are the same and the new jacket will pair really well with the 3.0 joggers for sure!

I’m usually a 32 in length for pants. The medium size (black) fit me fine lengthwise however it was more relaxed. I ended up liking the small size (blue) because it was slim fit, but for those they fit a little bit shorter. I also grabbed the jacket in medium which fit me perfectly I liked the overall fit.

They fit more loosely imo I got the version 1.0-2.0 jackets. They fit more or less the same in the arms as last seasons (3.0). I’d say these ones offer more room than the older jackets.

Length is definitely the same, however the old one did have a scoop hem so it was longer in the back. The new one is wider in the arms and chest, and is more comfortable in my opinion.

Yep I’m glad I can help! For last years tech fleece if you can still find them i would recommend those just because they can be had for lower than retail and are on clearance at most retailers (however sizing, colors and availability does vary). With that said this years are also pretty decent and are at all retailers and are reliably in stock. I find that the jacket and pants for this year also keep you warm in most situations however, I wouldn’t wear them in freezing to sub freezing temperatures just because there’s no insulation properties at all. I also want to point out in my experience, I did feel that this years are a little less thick and more roomy than in years past. Bottom line is: this years tech fleece hoodie is still great. I don’t have any issues with them and they still do keep me warm when I was out side in 45-50°F (7-10°C). I would just look for older tech fleece jackets first which are on sale before buying this years one as the technology is still the same.

For the tech fleece line, Nike usually uses an item code followed by a color code (this is usually known as the style number) in the format XXXXXX(item code)-XXX(color code) so for the black joggers I have on in the video it would be a CU4495-010. If you have an older black jogger model the code that you would have would be 805162-010. The last three digits would be the color code. If you are wanting the same jacket I have it’ll match your grey tech fleece pants if the grey you have is a -063 color code, the jacket I have in the video is CU4489-063. Best ways to check is on the tag inside jogger it’s a small one that’s on the left side of the pant leg. You can also check these numbers on the app or website as well.

If you’re still growing, I just get a size larger so that it will last longer, but if you want a size that is slim fit like the blue ones I was wearing i would recommend an xs now or for when you get taller a size s, if you want a relaxed fit an s for now, but a medium later on.

Medium might fit slightly roomier, if you’re coming from a large, I’d say try a medium. If you have muscular or large legs a small might be a little too tight after maybe a couple washes. A medium could shrink and still be comfortable to wear. Again, I’d say try a medium first, and if you like the fit, I’d recommend washing in cold and hang to dry if needed.
