Hear me out: what if the next Animal Crossing uses this functionality? Maybe you can play with 11 other people (so 12 total instead of 8 total like in ACNH). Chatting in game would be wayyy easier. And if the screen share thing is real, maybe people could screen share their island/town/planet with you, let you see what they designed, and react live to it instead of physically going there yourself.♥💙

BROOO but what if the "C-Button" is a throwback to the 3DS Street Pass!!!? Or something like the Mii Plaza!!!? I really wish they would bring that back, like can you imagine pressing that button, being connected online, collecting points and playing mini games 😢🧡

The problem with that is there are alot of people who actually don't walk around with their systems. So they would have to implement some other function other than passing people on the street. I'm pretty sure that's why they got rid of it in the first place.

My XBox controller has 3 buttons in the center. The center button has different functions depending on the game I’m playing. Why couldn’t the C button be like that?

I really hope it isn’t a chat button tbh. Playstation and Xbox do have chat yes but Discord and stuff is way better imo. I just do not see the point. Especially when there is a chance that it won’t be well implemented.

Need a Switch VR similar to the Meta Quest 3. VR is the future, flat screen has been peaked for years. Mario Kart VR would be sick!

that's what i thought they were going to go for, back when we saw split screen mario kart. Nintendo could have dominated with cheap but affordable VR via their more cartoony style.

@ The old Nintendo took risk and was forward thinking and probably would have made a VR Nintendo. Heck, they attempted VR in the early 90s. Current Nintendo will probably just give us a Switch 2 so we can see those cartoon graphics in 4K now.

I would be quite content to buy a Switch 2 just to play my existing collection of some 200 Switch 1 games: many bought for less than £5. Soo many partially or unplayed games in there. I’d love to play these on a larger 1080p screen, potentially with more stable frame rates? Bowser’s Fury springs to mind as at times it’s almost unplayable the frame rate drops so low.

What if "C" is for "Cross-function" which is "Chat" and Amiibo? I can see them moving the amiibo scan location, because it's frustrating to have to load amiibo on the joy-con.

I know the Switch 2 hasn’t been officially announced yet but if the flood of leaks are true. This seems under-whelming for Nintendo. If the gimmick is the ability to chat. That is 20 years too late to be impressive. The PS2 and OG Xbox had that type of functionality. We have to wait and see. Since Nintendo is moving slower than an iceberg to announce the system.
