Look 2 I like the lighter shimmer in the middle of the eyelid. It brightens the look. I've been doing that on my eyeshadow looks lately.

Yet another Nomad palette I can only admire from afar 🥲 Pining for the day their shipping to SEA costs less than 40 dollars, lmao. Love love love the packaging for this one! The yellow font gives karaoke and hardcoded anime subs of yore; so nostalgic. Gonna see if I can at least dupe some of the shades from my collection! The art on this palette is perfect, but all the swatches I've seen so far look so light and sheer

There's definitely a softness to the shades that feels very intentional to me but I wouldn't call these swatches sheer. A super saturated, high pigment shadow doesn't seem like it would make sense in the context of this palette imo!

I’m curious are nomad formula Mattes and shimmer better than colourpop? How different are they? Intl shopping for nomad is quite alot for me so I want would like to know the difference, thanks! I can’t wait for all the fall drops! 😊

My opinion, I think Nomad mattes are better but their shimmers are hit and miss and their formula varies. I think I prefer CL shimmers for consistency in quality, but I don't think you'd be disappointed with Nomad. They tend to be thinner, but quite beautiful.

I think Nomad has higher pigment and more consistent formulas for matte shades than ColourPop but both brands do a variety of shimmer finishes so those are harder to compare. Personally, I would rank both brands in my top favorites for eyeshadow palettes! I love Nomad for their creativity- I feel inspired by their palettes and everything feels a bit more luxury. As for ColourPop, I like the ease and accessibility. They have every type of product I could ever want, something for everyone, it's cute, it's not too pricey and all of their makeup is easy to mix + match for whatever looks I'm feeling at the time.

Too faced Italian spritz is similar in colors

I see how it might seem that way but swatch for swatch they really aren't close. Italian Spritz is one of my favorite palettes but it really is *overwhelmingly* peachy pink. This one is very primary red-blue-yellow with only one neutral shade to speak of. Fuji has three reds, I.S. only has one berry type shade and Fuji has SIX blues, I.S. only has two. They do contain the same "types" of shades to some degree despite a lack of real dupes and I think they would make incredible companion palettes actually!

It saved spicy sexy yet relaxing palette. I’m in love. But I am gonna wait to get it cause I just got a bunch of ew see during Says Xmas in July sale. I also love the looks BKTH of them appeal to me. I willl be rewatching the tutorials while playing with the Hudson Valley singles I have along with the Ghkst town palette. That angled technique is gonna be rocked really hard this week over here in my makeup kingdom 23:17

You definitely NAILED it in your description of the blue shades "being more approachable due to their being more saturated". I too am someone who hardly ever wears much blue as they can overwhelm my blue-green eyes and wash them out. And I think that the same potential issue would likewise affect the appearance of hazel eyes like I am guessing that yours are. I can get away with warmer navy, desaturated blue tones (especially when they lean teal or blue-green!) and, quite weirdly, blurples.
