28:55 OMG I truly love this new pre-show of the hunchback of Notre Dame for the opening of Notre Dame de Paris cathedral and hunchback is truly my favorite Disney movie of all time. I’m really glad that hunchback is being shown again and needs some time in the spotlight to Shine since it’s such an underrated Disney movie and my all-time favorite. The music in the movie is truly magnificent and I truly love the soundtrack, especially bells in Notre Dame and Hellfire, even though it’s not in the show, but bells of Notre Dame, of course has a beautiful score to it.

I loved Frozen 2 and haven't seen Vaiana 2 As a child my favorite disney movies were Pocahontas and "Esmeralda" and yes especcialy because of the music in both

Yes I agree Hunchback is in my top 3 and number 1 when it comes to soundtracks. DLP definitely needs to make more of it then they do. Disney needs to get over that it didn't do well on release because now it has a huge following. I would love them to have a show and a Esmeralda and Quasimodo meet and greet. 🤗💜👑

4:21 Our family felt the same way...sadly we all fell asleep during the movie😂😅😂 not sure why ...this has never happened to us before and we LOVED the first movie. also sadly when they played the little short at the end of the movie ...the audiance did not stop to watch it ...they just kept walking out of the theater.

It’s very nice for an underrated gem like Hunchback get it’s own nighttime show. Though I do wonder that even if the massive devastating fire never happened, this show would still be created and presented to celebrate the real-life cathedral’s milestone anniversary considering the fact that the film’s faithful to both Paris’ history and culture.

Just saw Moana 2 yesterday with 2/3 kids. Really enjoyed it. Same sort as format as the first film, new story obviously. Time will tell if I like the music as much as the first one.

Hi Sam, so happy you got to see Moana 2 in Disney Village. Oh wow. how magical & sparkly does the park look at night time, beautiful. You had an amazing meal at Walts, such a gorgeous restaurant & wonderful food. I adore the theming and memories in there , full of history ! And wow being able to watch the Christmas parade from your table! :) Aww I'm so sorry the Notre Dame show didn't have drones but the projections and fireworks were stunning! x

Really enjoyed eating at Walt’s in June. A great experience overall. I had to get a pin (I only knew about it thanks to your videos) I would recommend the Waldorf salad for starter.

What? A three course meal including a soft drink and a coffee for 50euro per person at walts ????? That's amazing!! Didn't expect that to be so relatively cheap! Ofc a buffet for 60 where you can eat as much as you want is sort of cheaper. But i'm not always a fan of the quality of the food. But this at Walt's looked amazing!!! I need to go ther asap! They do have an elevator right??

I got the Vaiana 2 song ‘what could be better than this’ stuck in my head for a week now 😂. Feel like the movie growing on me! But nothing beats the nostalgia of a first movie. Although I maybe like frozen 2 better than 1.

Hey Sam. My family and me went to see Vaiana 2 a couple days ago in dutch voiceover and some of the songs gave me goosebumps and parts of the movie brought me to tears. But i think a lot of those emotions came over me couse of the setting. A couple of friends of mine passed away over the last few years who are originaly from Indonesië and the moluccas. And these island seafaring type characters reminded me of them alot. And i could feel for the plight of those character immensely. So i really loved the movie and my wife and kids liked it to, but did not get those emotions. I really want to watch it again in OV, and hear the songs in the original language. That would probably sound better to me. The next film we will go to the cinema for will be wicked btw. Its gonne be fun.

i'm a frozen 2 fan, i think it's one of my favorite disney movies honestly, in big part for the songs, i'm sorry :( i like moana 2 too, for me it was on par with moana, but that's because lin manuel miranda's style never jived with me so even though i think that moana is his best work it still doesn't get me super excited. so to me the appeal of moana is mostly the characters and the beautiful animation, since the plot in both movies is very episodic and disjointed

Me: I have a Gold Pathé Unlimited Card, what are the odds they'll accept it in France? xD (one day I won't leave entire books of comments, sorry) Yeaaahhh no interest in the live actions either. What bothers me most about Mufasa is that The Lion King was a remake, but now they're changing the backstory suddenly it's a different universe. And I said it on Instagram, I really missed LMM's music! The music isn't bad in this movie, but I felt like they were trying too hard to have the music be *like* LMM's, and they didn't quite get there. I still think the animation itself was stunning, and the story was pretty decent, too. I especially loved the care in casting more native people to do the voices (although obvs in French it's different, haha!). I'll probably go see it again at some point, as it's free for me, but it's not a new instant favorite. I did wonder about the Dutch translation because the subtitles for one of the songs was quite awful, and I thought if the translation is just as bad kids are gonna get a whole different song xD (i'm in camp 'neither Frozen', so don't worry, there's always a smaller minority out there xD) Walt's used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but since the menu change we won't be back. Didn't help that my meal was a disaster (burnt pastry of the pie, my mac & cheese came with the pastrami so had to be sent back and then it came back out with the parmesan crips insanely chewy and cold, and my mocktail was mixed wrong) and the staff was no help, and when I reached out to guest services they tried to gaslight me, so that was fun. At least we got some money back in the end. I am still hoping the menu will change back to what it was so I can eat there again! (it's a different pastry now for the pot pie btw, but the filling is the same) Am skipping your Notre Dame show footage, going next week and want to see it myself first :D But yes 100%! Hunchback is one of my absolute favorite Disney movies!! Really hoping to catch Clopin next week!
