to catch you up: all the things with the stickers and emotes (basically) happened at the same time, gnarpy got a redesign, and then a billion floors got added. like, i stop playing for like a month and theres a new groundbreaking feature.

Also you can give petals to melanie which will give you an effect: cuteness overload, basically heals u up 0.50% , really good if u wanna heal up without other items

dudeee i love melanie!! her dialogue is so awesome and her design is so cute, definitely one of my favorite NPCs :D also HOLY CRAP THERES SO MUCH LORE??

Heres some lore i managed the gather from the dialogues 1. Before we begin lets get the simple ones out of the way... first of all melanie made her first debute in the teaser for folly and even in her boss fight you chouldve seen melanie's severed head in the background untill they released another teaser which shows mozelle grabbing the melanie's head and fix her and here we are! 2. From the dialogues we can see that apperantly mozelle did messed some stuff up given prototype detects some oddities in melanie's genetics and furthermore we do hear from a dialogue she has that she does feel some discomfort but thats all i seen myself maybe more is shown in a dialogue but thats all i have BONUS: melanie's head seems to be inspired by tower heroes enemy "catware" BONUS 2: her expressions are quite similar to animal crossing expressions BONUS 3: she seem to be the only npc that uses R15 but i doubt so given its quite similar to the other sort of rigging where the limbs still look R15 but keeps the astetic of R6 given it is R6 but the limbs are simply stretchy but most likely from a simpler observation the bottom part (the legs) and the walking animation is R15 but rest is R6. Idk how that works but its intresting nonetheless

I think only her and Wallter are the only NPCs to have a R15 or R15 adjacent rig. Wallter just uses R6 animations while walking while she uses R15 ones.

if my memory serves me right that specific kind of rigging is named D15/S15 - it removes the weird janky splitting between R15 rig, allowing you to animate limbs whole without the bother of your bodyparts looking off. D15 is open-source, mind you, so you can go look it up. Dogu15 rig.

Probably glitching given mozelle isnt a good mechanic and she did caused some less visible oddities inside her meaning maybe she is glitchy too... or she is indeed stuttering given i too whould be nervous all the time and stuttering when a freaking nightmare demon just killed me

I think Melanie is really common because i get her so often. Also i had her talk to infected and she said, "Hey Infected do you wanna go out tonight with me and Lampert?" "But Lampert hates me sneezing in his ice cream!" "Well he specifically said to invite you." "Thats cause he just likes to use my coupons!" It was quite funny but i dont really know if its relevant to her death.
