We moved to Oak Run in Feb 2023. We got a great deal on a beautiful home and the HOA fees are well under $200.00 a month. We bought a 1795 sq. foot, 2 bed, 2 bath home with a brand new roof, engineered hardwood floors, oversized lanai, a 3 year old heating/central AC system and sprinkler system for $223,000.00. The pool areas are great and there is also a very large health club all included in your HOA fee. Golf is extra but compared to surrounding adult communities this is definitely the best value in Ocala. NOTE: It is not a wild party community like the Villages but there are plenty of clubs that do throw parties in Palm Grove and the Orchid Club and you are right off of Highway 200 which has every restaurant or store you could ever want! The Oak Bar & Grille is open until 8pm and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed! The Island Club is wonderful and we live about a 30 second walk from it. This is the best retirement community in Ocala!

Thanks for your comment John! I’m actually going to the ballroom dance there at Oak Run tomorrow evening. I went there last week for their Valentine dance, it was wonderful! There are some great home values going on right now!

HI DELLA ! Loved the Video. I have a question about the HOA FEE. I currently live in a 55 + neighborhood in FL. and I know and understand the HOA FEES are different per section of the neighborhood. What I'd like to know is what is the current (March 2024) HOA Fee average or for the higher end homes? AND..... is there only one hoa fee? Currently I pay $140 a month for my village hoa fee.....then a 2nd HOA fee of $300 a month for the Community. This is why I am asking is there just ONE hoa fee. One more question is """Lawn Care""" included in the HOA fee? Thank you , and make more videos !!!
