Respawn* EA allowed Respawn to be their own company doing their own stuff, EA just exists there just to publish whatever they are cooking there.

@@danylol772it’s cuz EA sets yearly targets for how much they want from respawn and it’s up to respawn how they achieve it. They could very well make things cheaper which attracts more people to buy but they’re too scared to try that. It’s 100 percent respawns fault, if they were under any other company, they would still be an advocate for this monetisation.

@@theleakerbot Well, yeah, I get your point but mine still stands. Respawn clearly doesn't wanna fail at getting that money but EA is clearly behind and the cause of everything. While respawn might had something to do with how monetization works, just look at how differently Titanfall and apex monetization systems are, and that's all ea's doing

I want the finisher to be Octane spinning the knife around while holding a selfie stick, becoming more and more elaborate with the tricks for the fans watching, until he eventually goes too far with him accidentally unhooking the pin from a frag grenade. He reflexively throws the victim’s body down on it and springboards off their exploding body. He does some flips, ending with a downward strike to finish off the victim. He can also do a quick pose holding the knife at the end to show it off.

I like how prestige skins are losing more and more value… like yes the price needs to absolutely go down, it is outrageous that you are spending like what $160 on something you can’t see in first person. I just think we need to stay consistent or give more to everyone and everything, not just a brand new heirloom to make more money. Are they going to give those skydive trails to the prestige skins that don’t have them? Or how about the ability to use the finisher on any style once it’s unlocked? Choosing to maybe give every legend an heirloom and prestige skin before already adding recolors? Like none of this is happening so I don’t see why we should be letting them do this, Crypto and Octane mains rejoice ig but wouldn’t you be happy with a prestige skin instead of a recolored heirloom that you most likely already have? Idk, I just think that there needs to be consistency or fairness, there doesn’t need to be both but making money comes with a good game, not making a bajillion cash grabs per season because whatever season Ballistic came out in underperformed. Even like this event, like it’s cool and something new, I’m sure it brought in a bunch of players but the fact that we have a bunch of cosmetics and things to buy that are more expensive than usual collection events is stupid and also the scam of a chance of a “free” universal heirloom.

the info came from thordan, it was never in the files. We did have all those leaked events that never came in season 19 too though, so they may have been pushed back? it happens...

Emote is far better than a finisher. You don't do finishers often, whereas you can show off your emote to your teammates and spectators whenever. Besides, if you have a prestige skin and a recolor, both will have finishers, which means you will have to unselect one. Total waste IMO

The heirloom finisher for a recolor is what should have been done in the first place. Not a mid banner frame or an emote. But as a Crypto main, I'm copping that recolor the minute it drops, cause that finisher goes hard 🔥
