Wireless winches kinda scare me, I don’t like the idea of the remote possibly sending a signal when not intended… maybe It’s not a big deal but just a feeling I have

I just bought a Z1 off road front bumper 900$ looks bad ass it also works with a 2" body lift,but can be made to work with a 1" body liftI also got a badlands 12000# synthetic rope winch 500$, a lot of people that give stuff away,it's junk but they paid good money for it and can't throw it away,thinking it will magically work again

The z1 bumpers look great. I love that they made it compatible with body lifts. The winch came off a buddy of mines Jeep. When he bought the Jeep it was already on there. He removed the winch and sold the Jeep. If I can’t get it working I’ll just run to Harbor Freight and get one. No biggie..

@4wdAdventurz yea it's not a warn,but very good reviews at less than 1/2 the price,synthetic rope is less dangerous when it fails and a lot lighter,thanks for ur reply and good luck with ur build, I have a 3.5" lift on my 22 frontier but it's not enough, so I'm titan swaping,with carbon shocks resi's in the back and 2.5" coil overs in the front with 650# eibach springs,stock lowers with moog ball joints and r.c. red forged uppers they look grate and have a big ball joint from somthing else there's a moog part #,a bargin at 300$, I enjoy ur videos keep em up,thank u Erich

The winch probably has an on/off button on it somewhere. That’s how my winch works have to turn on the wireless function on the winch. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

It's probably the remote or the remote not pairing need to try the wired remote . harbor freight has a parking lot sale going on and the badland zxr 12,000lb is 299. You don't want to put all the time and effort into that bumper with winch and the winch never work or crap out not long after installation that's a little bit of work that you probably don't want to do more than once every blue moon and you can't have all that and no winch. If you do want to keep that one I would break it down and grease the gears and everything and get the wired remote if he didn't give you one. Oh yeah I forgot my wireless badland remote says it's got to be repaired every time the battery goes dead and even with a good battery I think you have so many seconds to push in or out to make it pair when you turn it on. Speaking about the wireless badland remote I've seen comments of people saying it works on their warn winches so that might be an option for you. If you get up to harbor freight during this sale you could get a 12,000lb winch and wireless-wired remote for around 360 that's not bad.
