The pick is Jayden Daniels, his scrambling ability allows us to dictate to the opposing team, rather than letting the opposing team dictate to us. Last year, defenses had no fear of Sam Howell, they could press our receivers, they could tee off on the offensive line, Sam had nothing that could hurt the other team. Jayden Daniels has an elite weapon in that he is always a threat to pop off a 20-yard run, that will open up the playbook and help the entire offense.

Last season Sam was the only thing defenses had to be afraid of, plenty of opposing defensive players said as much, but EB was so predictable and such a poor playcaller that Sam was completely beat to hell in the 1st half of the season.

No QB is gonna be successful in a bad situation, the best teams in the NFL, who have some of the best QBs built quality rosters before plugging QB in. Kliff mentioned Weapons before he said anything about QB. MHJ is a potential HOF weapon worth taking with the 2nd pick.
