This reminds me of when I was a kid in the 80s and would go to the Honda dealership just to look at the bikes and trikes. It was kind of embarrassing because I would go so often just to look. I didn't have the money and my parents thought they were dangerous. Then, one day, I finally wore them down and saved enough money to buy a 3-wheeler. Been in love ever since.

Cool story! Yes, my local dealer was like Disney World for me. I'd watch their VHS promo tapes over and over until my father pried me away from the TV and brochures. What a great era. Maybe what made is extra special was the fact you had to go see it in person. We didn't have the internet and social media to live it at home, you had to live it in person.

Same here, I would go to the dealership during lunch break when I was in high school. Collected all the brochures in the ‘80’s, and would always ask them for a job…,no shame! 🙂✌️
