Another discipline the M2 EVO is amazing at: Low RPM! The lower disk loading makes it the perfect contender for those relaxed, smooth evening flights. Check out the agility and control authority it retains, despite spinning at a relatively slow rotor speed!
Looking to buy? Find the M2 EVO here:
Europe: originhobbies....
USA: www.buddyrc.co...
UK: www.scotiarc.c...
Highlights of the M2 EVO:
•All new visual design fitting with OMP's new line, available in white, red, orange and yellow
•Increased blade length to 190mm, rotor diameter of 434.5mm
•Longer, length adjustable tail boom for easy CG adjustment for a wide range of batteries
•Larger tail motor and rotor for quieter tail operation
•More rigid main frame with lower parts count, batteries secured via friction fit
•Larger main motor, perfectly matched to drive the new main blades
•FBL rotor head for improved control characteristics
•Larger 3S 750mAh battery
•Swash levelling tool included
Thank you Luis for shooting this video!

I know that the crazy high RPM stuff is impressive but this style of flying is really nice to watch. Especially with a micro. Very nice flight.

This is exactly what I was about to write - smooth slow-mo-precision - I love it so much ❤️ Just installed your M2 model file on my TX16S MAX AG01 - it's awesome and works for my M1 too 🤗 But it was hard to find your M1 model file, the link in all videos is dead and I had to find a working link in a forum and it lacks some cool stuff of your M2 model file. Is there any page where your current M2 and M1 Model files are available for download? And did you consider making a how-to or tutorial video for the TX16S? I'm a little overwhelmed coming from XK X6 🤣🙈 Kindest regards, you're the man👍

I also love watching this style with the big 600 and 700s. It's so much easier to appreciate the complexity and mastery of it all. Thanks for this Jonas.

Sorry, but that might be off topic: are you using OpenTX or EdgeTX? I'm new to the TX16S and EdgeTX seemed quite impressive to me, but I needed OpenTX to import your model files 😅👍

Hey Jonas, will you be doing a review-like video of the EVO by any time? I already read a lot of details you've mentioned in forums, but a "Let's take a closer look at the Evo"-Video of you would absolutely be amazing

This weekend. I'm in the middle of uni exams and am existing on an average of 4hrs of sleep per night, anxiety and a metric shit ton of caffeine. It's a borderline miracle I was able to even produce and put out these flight videos at all.

@@Johnny31297 I'll stop bothering you immediately, sorry, please excuse me. I can imagine what you're going through, my best friend just handed in her master thesis yesterday and long ago my sister did her magna cum laudae in Chicago. I also have a daughter, raising her without my wife, that wasn't easy too 😅 Good luck and I'll keep watching your stuff without driving you crazy with my questions ✌️ (just a fan)

Hey Jonas, I was wondering if there was any way to get a voltage alarm on the TX16S instead of a timer without using the OMP receiver? How do you treat your LiPos? I read a recommendation to charge to 4.10V generally and 4.20V directly before flight and fly not further than 3.72V. Storage voltage is 3.85V, isn't it? Sorry for alle these questions since they are not directly related to your Video 🙈 By the way, is there any dedicated place on the internet to ask you questions? Haven't found a smarter and more friendly person than you and my experience with most forums were not that good (lots of assumptions, off topic, simply wrong, unfriendly). Or is there a Forum you would highly recommend over others? Kindest regards and let's fly ✌️

No way to receive telemetry with an external rx currently. I just fly until LVC hits, around 3.45V/cell, works for me. I do not have a place for people to chat with me directly, and believe me, this is nothing personal against the many wonderful people in this hobby. It's just, if I were to chat with everyone who wants to chat with me, I'd be doing nothing else all day. At a certain level of becoming a public figure, it just gets too much to fit into your day, especially if you have other things to do in life besides helis. HeliFreak is the one place I'd definitely recommend, people there are decent and I've had the best forum experience by a long shot there. You'll find a couple black sheep everywhere, but once you identify and ignore them, it's all good.

At this point, I see little to no benefits to larger helis anymore besides handling the wind a little better and autos. I can fly anywhere and the stress level is nearly non existent compared to larger models. On a dollar per flight hour cost, there just is no match. I dont miss flying larger helis at all. Unless I got really rich somehow and was able to afford the cost of flying 700s without it screwing up my financial plans. Nothing like a $500+ crash on the weekend to tick you off for the whole month/year. It got to be not fun anymore. The M2 make me excited to go fly again.

Big helis are fun but intimidating, and expensive. But these micros and 300$ worth of spares will give u 1 year of flying without the need to order any spare parts loo

Agree 100 percent. I wish they would help us with tamer setups than 'what they use' so we could hopefully get to their level without crashes. But that would be like making a car that doesn't need maintenance. The more we crash the more money the manufacturer makes.
