New One Acre Food Plot (Late Planting)

We planted earlier…got a couple of rains. Now going on 3 1/2 weeks of drought. Praying we get some soon…clover is gone…but rye has a chance. Hopefully, y’all get a nice soaker soon!

@@MyVisualRomance the last 2 years of late summer drought has wiped it out. It estimated good but hot and dry took it out.

@@camofamilyoutdoors I got ya. Yeah I had same experience with Egyptian wheat. I think anything you plant is gonna fail with the droughts we’ve been seeing.

I planted about a month ago right at 3 acres I’m in Pulaski county, I finally went and bought a water pump and a 500 gallon water tank and I just pull from my pond I spent too much money on lime, fertilizer and seed. to let it just dry up lol. neeeeed rain

We’re in White county. Planted two acres yesterday. Couldn’t wait any longer for rain. Forecast has been on again off again for this week.

Mother nature is always so hard to control unfortunately 🥴.ya we did not get any rain this summer our early Fall.Ya that HOG game was Frustrating.Nice video & hope u get some rain & happy Hunting

How did you’re late planting plot turn out? Lived in Arkansas 6 years. Sure miss it. I enjoyed you’re videos. Keep ‘em coming.

It did ok, but just ok. Due to the late drought I got a very little growing season before the first frost. So the plot never got to its full potential. But it did attract deer. Looking forward to next season at that location. Thanks for watching!
