Thank you. I highly recommend their hammocks. After I purchased my first hammock from them I have ordered several other of their products. .

Can we sleep in these tonight? Lol love it! Thanks for the video. I just got mine from Amazon today. I also got the tarp and 2 piece under-quilt being that I'm in the PNW. Thanks for the video!

I am little shorter than you and 220 pounds heavy. Would it even give me more comfort if I would get a 12' hammock? Thanks.
@reallifeadventures46712 жыл бұрын
You would be able to get a very flat lay in your hammock.

@@VisitaInteriora you happy with it? Schwanke auch zwischen 11 und 12 Fuß. Bin 188cm.

Think about what you just said, thumb to finger is approx 30 degrees, but if you move the hammock to a 45 degree angle you just slide your hand closer to it and ridge line,, so not quite catching what you mean.. ? Or maybe its just me looking too far into it,,,,, I tend to do that sometimes,,, LOL,, sorry my friend... Great video, I want top get one of these, thank you for showing us how to set up..

Thank you for watching. What I’m talking about is a good starting point for the amount of sag in your hammock. A good starting point is roughly a 30° sag in your hammock. A lot of people will say that your suspension needs to be at 30°, and that is correct if you do not have a structural ridgeline. A structural Ridgeline sets the amount of sag in your hammock therefore the angle of your tree straps is not near as important. A quick reference for setting 30° is to make the L or gun shape with your index finger and your thumb. That is roughly 30° from tip of your thumb to the tip of your finger. These are all rough estimates none of it is exact. Everyone should set up their hammock for what is comfortable for them. I prefer a bit more sag in my hammock.

It is thumb and finger shooting at your hammock down your tree straps and it should be across your fingertips....
@reallifeadventures46713 жыл бұрын
@Emma Hammond You are absolutely correct if you’re not using a structural ridgeline and the angle of your tree straps from the tree determine the sag in your hammock. With using a fixed structural ridgeline I was getting a rough determination of the sag in my hammock not the angle of my tree straps.

I'm considering ordering the 12ft double hammock from them. I gotta ask you does the double layers feels uncomfortable and the fabrics have that nylon feel not cotton like? I have a single layer dutchware netless abd I like the hexon 1.6 but not sure how it's compare to 2.2.

I’m not for sure how comfortable the double layer one is. Mine is a single layer and it is extremely comfortable. I also have the ultralight 11 foot single and it is extremely comfortable as well.

Um...its finger and thumb gun shoot toward your hammock and the tree strap should roughly be across your fingertips....
