Jedi were used to fighting one on one clones like droids have stupid numbers going for them so the tactic is to surround the Jedi and there’s a good chance of a lucky shot getting the Jedi. also for the most part the Jedi were caught off guard by order 66. Their duty stations made sure that the Jedi were as isolated from each other as possible usually it was one Jedi master and at most one Jedi padawan in tow.

As viewers we're used to seeing the best of the best when it comes to Jedi. Anakin, Obi-Wan, Mace and Yoda were in a league of their own in combat. Not every Jedi is as skilled as them. Some Jedi specialize in more academic or clerical roles that don't have them swinging a lightsaber much. Also as another person said, they were used to fighting droids at this point which were dumb and predictable. The whole point of clones was that they were each their own person and cared for one another which gave them a massive advantage on the field.

@@nick0197in the novels it states that anikan ordered the clone to close as many exits and kill as many Jedis in their sleep. When the fighting starts, they were all caught off guard by the many clones that were coming from all angles. Also a majority of Jedis didn't or practice Form 3 (the defensive form that's good at blocking lightsabers and blaster bolts; hence why obi wan was doing alright). Another thing is that the clones were mainly killing knights and padawans, Anakin took care of the masters and more experience knights. Also some clones were wearing Jedi robes so imagine that you're fighting for your life with clones all around you and you think you see a Jedi in robes but they pull out a blaster and shoots you. Also clones were secretly trained to kill Jedis as that was their whole purpose.

Well they were unsuspectingly attacked in their home and sheer numbers helps doing the Job. Anakin was stronger than most Jedi Knights and a few Masters that the Clones couldn't take on their own. Remember there were only around 10k Jedi before the war, many were killed during it and the temple wasn't really filled with them
