It takes months for Kane to make his backrooms videos. I'm fairly confident that he's started work on the next one, it's just going to be a little busy/complicated. He's already released a couple music tracks that are in the Backrooms playlist yet aren't in any video just yet.

It might have been due to schoolwork, but it also could've been because of working on some other stuff (Maybe Oldest View or Backrooms). We're already getting some teasers as to whats happening in the timeline right now from some of the titles in Backrooms OST (MidwesternTraumaLight, Survey, maybe Tunnel Vision and The Reason)
