For me, the New Order version has always been a cover of the Joy Division version. And I'm really, really touchy and judgemental about JD covers- JD are sacred to me. And this is probably the best one I've ever heard. I love it. And I love that you guys seem to love it- best of luck to you!

I am 50 years old and a true Joy Division fan. Always hated when anyone covered this song because I always felt it sacred. Grew up ,,, and stopped being stupid. I really enjoyed this. Stayed true to the original but t didn’t try to imitate. Clearly you feel the song. Thanks for sharing.

When the song was written, it was a Joy Division tune. There is a live recording of it from Birmingham University (England) with Ian Curtis on vocals. There has to be a demo out there with Curtis's vocals. Nice cover !!

Wow, this is damn good. It really is a pretty exact cover of the New Order single...but has a bit more grit to it.
