Great. This is before they played safe with dat tapes and sequences coming from computers (after the release of Republic), but after the early insecurities with their analog equipment. I love the early live stuff too, but during that Brotherhood era, they were a really good live band. No one combined the passion and imperfections of humans playing live with the imperfections but clockwork precision of analog synths and sequencers of that era like New Order in 1987.

Saw this on the night (well, tea time) in the UK. As usual the Tube would save the best until last and we missed the end of Broken Promise to credits and adverts.

....sounds like their tech person did not plug things in right. The Tube was always capable of live performance but they sound like their on top of the pops when they played live in their studios that weren't built to accommodate live music. Someone screwed up the sound. Maybe sabotage.

03:26 Gillian is brilliantly playing the rhythm guitar throughout, except for this one passage where Bernard is not singing - then he takes over, playing the same (well. actually a simplified version), with the same sound. Seems a bit silly, really. Never liked this song. It's overproduced, and way too busy. Would've benefitted from a proper cleaning to it's bare essentials.
