anothercountyheard it really is, isn't it. I'm hopeful Hooky and Bernard will work out their differences soon. In the meantime, I will be seeing Peter Hook and The Light here in L.A. on May 18. The 38th anniversary of Ian Curtis' passing. They will perform Unknown Pleasures & Still in order.

anothercountyheard hey thank you, and wow what a show you were at!!! That was the Brotherhood tour I believe. Great album. I feel very much like you do about Hooky. I have seen NO 12 times... 8 with Hooky, 4 without. And yes, it is not the same. In fact, when NO played the Hollywood Bowl last year, it was the first time in 30 years that I didn't go to see them when they played L.A. on a tour. And it wasn't sold out... I just wasn't feeling it without Peter. The diehard fans cab be found at Peter Hook & the Light, who I saw just 2 nights ago. They played NO Substance, then JD Closer, followed by JD Unknown Pleasures, and a 4 song encore!! Around 30 songs. Hooky looks great.

@anothercountyheard BTW, my NO/JD friend, it's just a couple of months or so away from Peter Hook & The Lights November 9th Los Angeles show. I am so very lucky to have met someone connected with The Wiltern Theater, and after hearing me gush (!) about Hooky, he told me not to buy a ticket, as he is going to hook(y) me up with a FREE pit pass, and......wait for it...... possibly go backstage afterwards to meet Hooky. I was fortunate enough to be at his booksigning a few years ago as well. It was $38 and included the NO book and an interview onstage with Moby. Afterwards he signed for everyone (about 200 people).and chatted with us all, never rushing fans through.
